Signed up for a Invisalign treatment package with Dr Stephanie and had my first aligner sometime Nov 2019. I’m halfway through the treatment now and currently on my 26/42 aligner. Experience has been great for me so far, despite the treatment was disrupted by COVID, Dr Stephanie had assured me that things are under control and did her best to accommodate to my request, otherwise provided an alternate solution to my needs. As a perfectionist, I’ve high expectations of how my teeth are going to turn out and after being treated by Dr Stephanie for about 7 months now I’m confident that the result will be great. I like how meticulous she is and willing to go the extra mile to follow up on my condition. I’m more than willing to show my before and after photos once the treatment is completed.

I recently did my wisdom teeth extraction. I used to have phobia of the dental anesthesia needle due to a childhood incident. But Dr. Yap is so skillful and gentle that there's no feeling of pain at all. She also explain every step what she was doing, her skill and professionalism is highly recommended. Thank you Dr. Yap for helping me overcome my phobia.

Dr Stephanie Yap is very patient and gentle. I had my root canal, extraction and mouth guard done and I'm very confident in her skills. The assistants and receptionists are also exceptionally good and they have made me feel comfortable in coming to the dentist!

I recently had my dental bridge done by Dr Stephanie Yap. It was quite a complex one. Dr Yap carefully evaluated why the old bridge done by other dentist broke down prematurely. She made few adjustments and let me tried out a temporary fixture for few weeks before finalized with the permanent bridge. Dr Yap is very nice, patience and professional through out the whole process. The outcome is very satisfactory. Highly recommended!

I ask for the estimated cost for gum recontouring surgery and I get a speedy reply from the admin. but then when they told me that its $1070 per tooth I was like its too much then I ask again then they say its $1000 onwards per tooth! they are so unsure!! with that price it cost the same as porcelain veneers and the website already stated the estimated cost for the procedure. after trying to correct the Admin, I never get a reply at all like literally no reply.. I don't trust this Dental clinic! I'm so nervous they might charge me more than that.

Most Horrific Dental Experience I recently went to TDS OUE to extract 2 of my wisdom tooth with Dr Stephanie Yap. It was initially a pleasant experience which turned horrid. The initial stage of the surgery went well and the first tooth was extracted smoothly. However, midway Dr Yap struggled to extract the second. I recalled her using different tools, drilling sounds and finally exerting force to remove the tooth - finally. All seemed normal with the pain that I had initially expected and was told that would last a few days after. However after 3 days, the pain was severe and the pain seemed like it had spread to the throat even with the remaining painkillers I took. Eating and drinking water became a pain as there would be an extreme stinging pain each time. Worried, I went back to Dr Yap, she checked and advised the wound is healing well. Dr Yap removed the stitches on the 4th day after the surgery. I went home worried, still deciding to take her advise. On the 7th day, I was still experiencing extreme pain on the throat and at the extraction areas. I started experiencing bad headaches caused by the pain. Hence, i visited Dr Yap again. She checked and again advised that its healing well and there is no inflammation. She wasn’t listening enough to the pain that i was experiencing at that point of time. Being frustrated with not knowing what had actually caused the pain and being in pain for such a Long time, I went to another dentist to seek a second opinion. To my horror, the other dentist saw that there is still a stitch left on my wound and speculated that pain that i am experiencing could be due to nerve injuries done during the extraction of tooth. He then told me to visit a specialist. I am greatly traumatised by this whole incident and still suffering from bad headaches, pain in the throat, ear and mouth, tingling feelings on the cheeks. These greatly affected my life and I regretted choosing TDS, Dr Stephanie Yap as my Wisdom Tooth Extraction Surgeon. Despite going back several times, I was told that everything was fine and the wound was healing well when another Dentist could see a stitch not removed properly. I’m just writing in because I believe nobody would want to experience what I’ve gone through.

I have completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr Yap within 17weeks for the gaps of my teeth. She has been great along with my journey; knowledgeable and always assuring whenever I have doubts. Lin and the dental asst has been great as well in rendering assistance and support I needed. And now i can have a wonderful smile, not to worry about the gaps I used to have. It is important to have them alongside with me in this journey and im glad i made the right choice.

Dr Stephanie Yap is an amazing dentist! I am extremely fearful of dental visits. It is so bad that I always have stomachaches just before my dental appointment. Scaling and polishing by previous dentists were always incomplete due to my fear. They did not bother to try and help me overcome my fear at all. Dr Stephanie Yap took time to understand my fears and tried her best to help me by using different equipment. She is undaunted by a ‘difficult’ patient like me, and is very patient, caring, meticulous, understanding and responsible. She always ensure that I am coping well during the scaling and polishing. She never does a shoddy job and gives me time to relax if I suddenly feel tense, and would reassure and encourage me along the way. I like her quiet confidence and great attitude. I am really blessed that my dental needs are taken care of by Dr Stephanie Yap, she is simply fabulous!
