Simply superb. We have moved internationally several times in recent years, and most recently to Singapore. The Family Movers handled everything professionally from start to finish, and we simply could not ask for better service. From the initial communication and quote, through the courteous and informative updates, right up to the punctual and polite staff who took great care in delivering our belongings to our new home. Nothing was damaged, everything was packed carefully, and it all arrived on time. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I used The Family Movers for my move from Hong Kong to Singapore. Moving homes is tough enough, let alone moving countries too, but The Family Movers made everything easy. Through email communications, they took me step-by-step through all the forms I needed to fill up, set up timings etc. When timings weren't working for me last minute, they went out of the way to accommodate me. Even during the move itself, all I did was literally stand in one corner while they moved my boxes into the house and fixed up my furniture. They were very fast too! An entire apartment's worth of things moved in a mere morning.

We used Family Movers for our relocation from Singapore to the UK. From the get go, we found the service extremely professional and very customer centric. The quotation process was very well handled, the packing of all of our possessions was incredibly well done by a great team of guys, just brilliant. And all this during the Circuit Breaker and the the associated restrictions presented around social distancing. We would most definitely recommend Family Movers and will use them again for sure.

I highly recommend Family Movers. I needed to move very quickly and Family Movers happily accommodated. They were polite, professional, helpful and responsive. All of my items arrived in perfect condition. I can't recommend them enough!

Our experience with Family Movers was overall positive. Ken was really helpful in arranging the move during a very complicated year. The team was responsive to my e-mails and queries, which I really appreciated. The packing team was courteous and easy to deal with. Nearly perfect, except we opted not to insure our thing to a high level as we were willing to take the risk that something would happen in transit or upon delivery. What I didn't expect was that some of our things wouldn't be packed properly. When our movers int he US unpacked a box of framed pictures, it was filled with shattered glass. Our framed pictures weren't bubble wrapped (which happened in every move we had ever done in Singapore over 14 years with a different moving company), and just wrapped in paper with glass fronts lying on glass. Clearly not packed well. I hope this is the only box that was packed poorly, but we won't know for a few months when we can fully move into our home. We weren't able to be in our home when the movers were packing due to COVID restrictions - I hope we do not get anymore surprises. i did inform Family Movers and they offered to extend the claims period. Of course this doesn't help us and no other compensation has been offered. Probably an "I told you so moment on their part", but I think the packing should have been done properly in the first place and wouldn't have insured it differently. The last thing we want in what has been a really hectic move during a pandemic is an insurance claims process. So in the end, what would have been a 5-star review has been knocked to a 4-star review. As an add on, Family Movers partner in the US was very good.

The Family Movers helped us move from Hong Kong to Singapore. Their staff in both countries were extremely helpful and professional. Prior to using Family Movers, we had a horrible experience with another company but Family Movers helped up regain our faith in good moving companies. From the day of packing, the movers were professional and quick. They wrapped everything and packed everything away with care. They assured us that our belongings would arrive safe and sound and they followed through. On the day of arrival, the movers in Singapore were exceptional. They helped bring in all the boxes and were patient and supportive. They moved the boxes where we requested and made sure everything was ok before they left. Very professional. If you need to move overseas, this is the company I would recommend! 100%

This company lost one of my boxes moving from Singapore to the UK.  I completed the insurance list for items being sent.  However, because this company did not itemise their packing list it was impossible to prove, that the items that must have been in the missing box, were actually in that box!  Items such as expensive fishing equipment, cinema projector etc.  As a result I could not claim for the missing items, even though I had completed the neccessary insurance forms properly!  The insurance company advised they would send me £100 as compensation (an insult), even though the missing items equated to approximately £1000! I have since written to Family Movers to ask how they intend to further compensate me for the missing box/items and they have still not replied, even after numerous emails.  I do hope that this  review is taken seriously by Family Movers, and I will be happy to update this review should we come to an amicable end.  Simply based on the correspondence I have had to date, I would not reccommend this company. In fact, after reading through previous reviews of this company, it is evident that they have had boxes go missing before and disgruntled customers have voiced their concerns accordingly. I am sure that when things go well, they go well. But when things do not go well, the support from Family Movers has to date been extremely poor. I am lucky that the missing box did not contain any sentimental items, but it could have!

This is our second time using Family Movers. Extremely professional. During quotation stage, one of the most responsive company compare to other providers. the charges are clear and no hidden fee. On the day of moving (local Singapore move), The supervisor is really friendly, helpful and nice. We realized one of the crew had been moving our last move was here to help with the mattress. (well, our mattress is too big and need to carry via staircase). So they are fully aware of our requirement. For the kitchen packing, the crew sent a lady over to help packing with glasses and plates, this is the first time I don’t have any breaking glass. :) Everything is good and no damage. I really appreciate all the support, expertise for the move. Will for sure use Family Movers again in my next move.
