The Floral Atelier - 2 Alexandra Road Delta House

If there are any couples looking to hold their wedding at The Atelier & Co, please save yourself the headache and don't. I know it looks beautiful but it's seriously NOT WORTH the frustration. TL;DR: Holding our wedding here was the worst decision in our entire wedding planning process. It seems that their #1 priority is minimising disruption to their office hours & space and charging for every possible thing. There's almost no concern with ensuring your wedding goes smoothly. For context: this is their office space which they also rent out as an event venue. - We changed coordinators 3-4 times. We suspect our last coordinator was an intern/part-timer who was pretty nonchalant about our wedding. - They count the hours where they move their office things and tables away to make their venue ~usable~ under your rental hours. You also have to pay for their moving costs (and storage costs for the tables you don't use) to make their venue... an actual venue you can use. - Our wedding was for a Saturday lunch. When we signed the contract, we paid extra to have more hours on the Friday before to set up our own DIY table decor. When we sent them our planned schedule 3 weeks before the wedding, we were suddenly told, unapologetically, that it was a business day and they could not clear out their office furniture nor allow us to set up our table decor on that day. They even suggested "We recommend to set up on the day itself, the earliest we can open will be at 9am for the setup. So you can set up between 9am- 11.30am, which should be sufficient." Yes, they wanted us to set the entire venue up in 2.5 hours on the MORNING of our wedding, as if couples have nothing better to do and stress about right before they get married. It took MANY more annoyed emails of negotiating before we were finally allowed to use the extra hours that we PAID FOR. - We planned out our own seating plan and sent it over to the team to confirm that it fits. It was only when my husband went down to the venue on his own accord to check on the layout when he realised that half of their. tables came stuck in pairs (when we had drawn our seating plan with single tables) and we had to rearrange all the seating again. The team was either not aware of their own tables or did not bother to flag this out to us — imagine if we only realised on the day itself and had to arrange our guests' seating on the spot. - On top of a 50% downpayment to confirm the booking, we also had to make a $2500 security deposit (6 months before our event...) when the norm with our other vendors is maximum 1 week before. - A minor point: We loved the flower cold room and it was one of the reasons we were impressed with the venue. Unfortunately, it was only ~2/3 full during our wedding so that was a bit disappointing. - Another point to take note of: there were florists working in the corner during the event, going back and forth from the cold room to their work space. - By the way, if you're looking to serve alcohol to your guests, note that they also charge a corkage even though they don't serve alcohol themselves. Some plus points to be fair: The venue is really pretty and unique. They allowed us to postpone our wedding date at no extra cost cos our initial wedding date was during circuit breaker. But really, please save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a wedding venue that is more helpful than rage/stress-inducing. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Flowers were atrocious. Nothing like what was displayed on the website. Yes, it could be different, but the difference was really unbelievable. I would strongly suggest buying elsewhere, especially if you are gifting to someone. You wouldn't want to gift flowers from unreliable florists like the Flora Atelier, where even the neighbourhood market could have done a better job at probably 20% of the price charged by this place. To sum it up: Expensive, unreliable, lousy quality flowers, and atrociously packed.

A quaint and memorable floral arrangement shop that has a "local" feel. I stumbled onto this place while exploring Tiong Bahru shops recently. Very impressive, and i'm not really into floral arrangements ?! However, after a visit to this store, i'm inclined to return to purchase flowers and a candle, or another type of room diffuser oil. Check them out. Support local businesses.

Really great and responsive service. The flowers are amazing quality and lasted much longer than I expected. It was really special how the staff interacted with my daughter and made the experience of shopping so wonderful for us. Highly recommend!

Premium price, compare to other flower shops but it's worth it. I wanted to arrange a delivery from abroad to a friend who is staying in the hospital. When I visited the store in Paragon, I immediately fell in love with the ambience but did not have a chance to try while I was still in Singapore. The negative reviews on here made me think more than twice to make a decision but since I could not find anywhere else which is equivalently sophisticated as this place, I decided to order through online. It seems like I made the right decision! What my friend received was packed with fresh beautiful flowers! I think this shop is reliable and I would love to shop again! Thank you so much for picking beautiful flowers for my order!

Gg service not found: error code 404 cool vibes tho. They seem to be 24/7 busy with other stuff than service in-person. Suggest to just look at their online store instead, might just get more of their attention.

This experience has just been plain horrible coming from a “reputable” florist. My boyfriend placed an order for a bouquet on their website 2 WEEKS before Valentine’s Day and everything was confirmed. 5 DAYS before vday, floral atelier said the bouquet is “no longer available” and he can only order from their vday collection where prices were x2 of the one he ordered. He had to call in twice to ask what’s going on and was told he had no choice but to pay x2 if he still wanted flowers from floral atelier. Where’s your honour, honesty and responsibility as a brand? If certain bouquets are not available, why are they on your website in the first place? Why did it take you more than a week to update your customers if you have no plans on fulfilling orders? After trying to negotiate with floral atelier, they simply cancelled his order via email without calling him to inform. The flowers were meant to be a surprise for me on vday and I only asked after seeing him visibly upset. It’s our last valentines day physically together before he heads overseas indefinitely for work and he wanted it to be perfect. Well THANK YOU for ruining vday for both of us and I’m sure you’re so proud of your horrible customer service :)

My hubs has been buying flowers from them since our dating days. Special occasions always mean flowers from the wonderful team at FA. Thanks to their suggestions, he always scores extra points from me. This time, I particularly love the double petal tulips. Tulips being my favourite flower they’ve outdone themselves with this arrangement so far. I love the creativity and attention to detail put in by the team. Two of the tulips were going limp as they were too short for the water in the vase. But no matter, some extra sugar water and spritz of water throughout the day perked them right up.
