Garden of Rememberance is our mum’s resting place and the the venue of her wake which was held at Chapel Hall. The venue holds tranquility and serenity. Setting foot in this place, one is immediately greeted by a wave of calmness and peace. This place holds great sentimental value to me and I’ve even at times, just popped by whenever I miss my mum. Desmond was very kind to assist my sister and I in all the various arrangements, and was patient to explain the different halls and niches. He also drove me to the nearby flower shop once when I wanted to get fresh flowers. Peter also facilitated in the design and fabrication of my mum’s plaque. GOR has a closing time at 10pm too, which allows family members of the deceased to rest. They provide grab discount vouchers too, which was a great gesture as the place is very secluded and out of the way for many. Thank you for your wonderful service Desmond and Peter, and going beyond for us. -Gillian and Grace

Our family truly appreciated Mr Desmond Yeo and his team for their care and excellent service. They were truly sensitive and flexible as far as possible, which helped in our bereavement following the passing of my mother-in-law. The Garden of Remembrance is quiet and very peaceful, surrounded by greenery. The Operations Manager, Desmond is extremely helpful , professional. Desmond displayed a high level of sensitivity and compassion as we grieved the loss of a loved one. Would highly recommend to anyone considering a beautiful and tranquil environment to grieve the loss of their loved ones. The layout of the niche is also airy and bright. It also reflects a certain tranquillity and peace.

I just attended a wake at Garden of Remembrance. I am struck by how serene the environment is. What impressed me more was how spotless the rooms are and how the surrounding spaces are so well-maintained. The rooms are also spacious with full length glass windows which allowed us to look out into a water feature with fountains and to see greenery. I have never been to a wake that was held in such a beautiful and dignified environment. Totally awed..
