Rude & Sloppy Staff Rong Rong I ordered a self assembly cupboard with pull out plastic containers. Opted for self collection. During collection, my helper told their staff Rong Rong that what sheโ€™s given is wrong but staff Rong Rong insisted that it was on the order. When my helper got back, I realised that they gave me more than what I ordered so I drove back to return. Rong Rong came down and told me โ€œoh we gave you the wrong orderโ€ without any hint of an apology and without a thank you! When I got home and started to assemble the cupboard, I realised that she had also missed giving me some rails for the containers! Call her again and instead of apologising for all the convenience, she just told me that the driver will deliver missing items and the timing she gave was 11am-5pm 2 days later!! The experience I had with her was unpleasant & one of the worst! Their products are good but the company need to employ staffs that are more customer oriented.

Bought plastic containers & lids for my mom - unknowingly, the lids were the wrong size for the containers (I didnโ€™t check properly). Xan from The Home Shoppe texted to confirm that I bought the right ones, and when I realised itโ€™s not, helped me swap and refund the difference to me immediately. At the same time, Xan also checked if they can delivery the next day. 4 hours later my mom replied to ask if I can help her add two more lids. I texted Xan to ask, completely ready that it wonโ€™t be possible if delivery had already been arranged or I would have to check out on the website. Was pleasantly surprised that the answer was a simple โ€œno worries, just pass cash to the delivery guys tmrโ€. Really impressed with the after sales service, all e-commerce experiences should be like this - with a human touch. Thanks Xan and The Home Shoppe!

The delivery staff is absolutely rude! Agreed on a certain timing and delivery fee only to have the service man turn up early and demand Twice the amount for the disposal of the old furniture. Office people were no help in resolving the issue ! Promised to call back but Never did. Had no choice but to yield to the thuggish approach for the disposal of the old furniture for twice the agreed amount. Cushions are not waterproof as claimed - only made known now by the delivery staff. Left a really POOR Taste in the overall experience . Unacceptable- Would not recommend.

Furniture looks okay but the charges are not transparent (charges additional assembly charges) and the staff is not very friendly. Service staff was very rude. The delivery guys were old so didn't have the heart to tell them to put the furniture on the terrace even at an additional cost. Thought it's prudent to move it myself.

Bought a Keter outdoor shed from them and paid extra for assembly. Waited extra 2 weeks because they needed to arrange assembly. Delivery man came, delivered item and left without assembling it. He said the shop instructed him not to assemble it and told my MIL that need to pay more to have it assembled. The shop arranged for assembly the next day after I contacted that. This incident could be a misunderstanding and was resolved amicably. However, whatโ€™s upsetting is that I contacted the shop as the item was not assembled well, the shed had gaps at both corners, allowing water to seep in. The base is also dented. They said it may be a manufacturing defect and said they will exchange it. It has been 4 days since and they have not replied my last message asking when the exchange can take place. Very irresponsible.

3 Purchases over 4 weeks: Afterthoughts of a mostly-smooth process for durable high-quality plastic storage & cabinets, with excellent service recovery. Currently the owner of 7 Tontarelli cabinet furniture pieces, 4 Keter Lourve series cabinet furniture pieces, as well as multiple other items (Kis laundry basket, Nakabayashi stationary items, Kis storage boxes, etc) which are all from Home Shoppe. Do not want any future mould issues, do not want to buy wooden furniture that easily breaks down within 5 years while contributing to more unnecessary waste for landfills. Wants to be able to easily transport some furniture overseas in future. Some of my friends have taken a look at what I have acquired, and I have also advised them to go down to the showroom at Tanjong Pagar Distripark if unsure. I made one purchase online which was fantastic, went down to the showroom, then made 2 more purchases. Rong Rong played a huge role in my buying experiences, and I commend her for being warm, helpful, friendly and quick to respond. Buying tips: * If you are into self-assembly and do not want to use any tools, Tontarelli items are complete in themselves. Super-easy to assemble or take apart after looking through the instructions. I could assemble my items in less than 5 minutes, after I put together my first piece of furniture which took a bit longer. High quality plastic easily mistaken for fancy wood, great in bedrooms & living rooms. * If you are looking at Keter or Kis items, always ask staff from Home Shoppe first (by email, phone or in-person) if a drill is required for the door handles, before purchasing. If a drill is required and you have no drill, make sure you pick the Assembly option prior to purchase check-out so Home Shoppe has to assemble for you. All charges are listed very clearly. Preference-wise and finish-wise, I first pick Tontarelli > Kis >> Keter * Made-In-Italy Tontarelli has no smell. Made-In-Italy Kis cabinets I chose but sent back due to quality of some parts had hardly any smell. Made-In-Israel Keter Lourve series is a mixed bag. 2 Lourve Utility Indoor cabinets delivered as assembled have a plastic smell if you go very close to the doors ie almost plant your nose on the door or stick your head inside the cabinet. Unassembled Lourve Multipurpose cabinet which I self-assembled had hardly any smell, and the same with Lourve Wall & Base cabinet that I put together myself. Fortunately, they are only for the kitchen, and I did not want to spend at least $100 more per cabinet on the Gulliver Utility Cabinet. * Sturdiness-wise including solid base assessment: types of cabinets I chose from all 3 brands are reliable. * All 3 delivery teams (1 different team each trip) are quite helpful. * I reckon Home Shoppe needs to reorganise the showroom where the cabinets are, because there are so many good items there, yet the presentation is anything but optimal for those with no experience in such matters * Told another friend to check out Home Shoppe's available planters and other items for a garage or outdoor garden. So many attractive ideas. Overall, despite 1 hiccup, great buying experience! #Professional #Cabinets #Furniture
