β β β β β Lousy center. Only cares about making money. After joining, the Maths tutor was changed once every 2-3 months. When my kidβs result wasnβt ideal, the center persuaded us to stay (and assured us of the tutorβs commitment). Now, when her result still wasnβt good and we insisted on withdrawing, the center insisted that we had to stay until end of the term (no refund) and my kid told me that there was marked deterioration in the tutorβs attitude towards her. Quite unacceptable in my view.

β β β β β Dishonest business, terrible Teachers! No trial class offered, they say itβs due to pandemic. Forced to sign up for one whole term. My child didnβt like the teacher and wanted to change class. Contacted the school office about this and only given one and only alternative class which clashes with my sonβs other enrichment class. Staff kept pushing for alternative centres. We stay in the east and they wanted us to travel all the way to their other centre across the island 1.5hr bus ride away! Requested for alternative subject at our original Center and they said they will have our deposit forfeited if the change is allowed by the management! Super money grabber, downright dishonest. Do not care about student/ customer welfare at all! By the way, they claimed that some of their Teachers were MOE trained. However, we had 3 changes of Teachers and not a single one is MOE trained. In fact, I did a google search and the teacher is formerly a TNP New Face participant! So much for wanting to be a βpremiumβ tuition Center! Please see my attached photo. Seriously, if someone is really serious about teaching the young (Primary 1), will they write in such illegible manner? Which Primary 1 kid can actually copy such handwriting to do corrections? Waste of time and money dealing with them! ???????????????????????????????????????

β β β β β Admittedly, this is an expensive tutoring option for Math. But what makes it good is their worksheets are ahead of what they learn in school and they are tricky too. The teachers guide the kids well, but it stops there, if you are expecting more attention being given and support on the homework, actually what you will get is a situation where you will help your kid with school work and the learning lab practice homework. The class will move on regardless of whether your kid grasps the concept or not. But again, to be fair, this is not a typical tuition class where support is given to refine your kids understanding of the ongoing work in school, it is an additional math class with its own parallel syllabus. It was a good enrichment but up to a certain point it will become overwhelming for parent and child depending on what else you have going on. It works for some though...
