JJ was appointed to us after a little misadventure with our first appointed ID from Local INN.terior. He was definitely a savior to the project. JJ was really professional and meticulous with his work. He will make sure all the details we discussed are noted, and act upon. We can always trust that he will try his best to make things happen despite the many challenges. He is always responsive and will keep us updated with the status of the renovation with images, and videos, giving us peace of mind that our house is in good hands since we were unable to visit the site as often as we would like to. Moreover, he will also provide practical advice that is often overlooked to ensure that the living experience will be good (not just only looking good!)

Although we are still pending some completion from the defect check, we are confident that JJ will ensure that it will be done properly hence writing the review first. Pricing-wise, they are quite competitive and given the level of quality from their contractor. It is many well spend. There is less hidden cost as compared to some IDs we spoke to. We will definitely recommend JJ to our friends and anyone who is looking to renovate their place. Thanks a lot for the great work, JJ!

Our first impression of Vincent Tan was that he is a very sociable person whom we can communicate easily. He gave us a lot of creative ideas on how to do up our house when we first gave him our floor plan. That were the main reasons we selected him as our internal designer despite being the highest quote. We can see that he showed pride and passion in his design and work. He also paid attention to all the requirements and tiny details that we provided him and at the same time offered us with his own thoughts on how to make it better. Throughout the renovation, he was very accommodating to all our requests and even accompanied us to purchase our furniture, kitchen appliances, lightings and toilet accessories, giving us suggestions on which items were more suitable for our overall design of our house. All in all, it has been a pleasing renovation experience with him and we could not have asked for more despite all the delays and manpower constraints during the Covid period. Minor errors that we spotted during the renovation were rectified swiftly without much explanation to be made. Our guests were all singing praises of his design and the workmanship of our house. We will definitely recommend Vincent to anyone who love bold ideas and an ID who is able to fulfill the requirements you conveyed to him.

We would like to thank JJ Jay from TLI for helping us with our house renovation. He had been the best ID we could ever have. He is always very responsive to our queries, trying to find solutions to our problems, and managed to propose a wonderful design for our house which we absolutely love. JJ is very dedicated in his work and we feel at ease for him to help us design and manage the whole project. He will always give us timely update on the renovation progress. It was totally a fuss free and pleasant experience working with him. Post-renovation, JJ is also very responsive to our problems as he tries his best to help us in any ways. We really appreciate his help very much. Thanks to JJ, we have a beautiful home that we absolutely love living in. It has been a year since we moved into our home and I figured it’s time to write an honest review about my experience. This review is not to break anybody’s rice bowl but simply sharing our personal experience. ID: Vincent Tan (who also recently did an influencer’s home) Our first impression over zoom with Vincent was great, he was easygoing and was willing to work with our budget. But everything went downhill after the contract was signed. Warning: long post ahead. No Professionalism - First face-to-face meeting, he was close to an hour late. Once reached, instead of apologising he immediately excused himself to the back door for a smoke. - Ignored our WhatsApp messages and calls. Did not provide updates to our questions after saying he will check. - Did not provide the revised 3D after the first version even though we asked multiple times. We were left to our imaginations how it will look like. - Several remediations were made as he did not follow our instructions resulting in additional cost and time spent on both sides. - Gave wrong timings/dates resulting in several wasted trips because workers ended up not showing. - Always blaming carpenters / manpower/covid for the delays. Totally understandable at the beginning but toward the end it just felt like poor project management on his end. Little project management - Throughout the whole renovation, I felt like I was taking on a co-pm role in ensuring measurements are correct, checking for defects, chasing for missing items etc. - Minimal site management, heavily dependent on workers to give him updates. Poor Workmanship -Actual version of our kitchen island looked wayyyy different compared to the 3D. The actual one was too tall to be considered an island. His excuse to me was along the lines of why did I not check through his fabrication mock-up. We ended up paying more to get it fixed. (Thoughts: If I have to check through ALL his measurements why do I even need an ID lol) -Common bathroom cabinet was installed wrongly, pointed out to him when I first saw the fabrication mock-up but he said it was correct. Had to re-do in the end. - Over-hacked the wall. When I first saw it I immediately feedback to him but he assured me it will be alright after everything is done. Lo and behold, the workers had indeed hacked too much of the wall which cannot be undone. - Left ample space (25cm gap above) around the fridge which looks hedious. Wondering why did he ask for my fridge dimensions if he was not going to build according to it. - Grouting was terrible, had to get the tilers to touch up 3 times but still looks very bad - Lights track was installed slanted - Ceiling fans were installed loosely, they were shaking vigorously at high speed. I had to engage someone else to re-install the fans Over promise, under deliver - Pushed back handover date more than 5 times. - Did not spare a thought for our living condition. Kept telling us it’s in “move in condition” when there are so many things not done (eg. Door not fixed, Wardrobe not done, toilet done etc) In summary, i would not recommend based on my bad experience.

Renovated my parent's house with the local inn.terior. Team was the in-charge for our project. Young man with big ideas, love how he impresses my family and I on his design ideas, keeping hacking to the minimum as we do have a lot of in-built furnishing prior. Team is very consistent in his initiative of providing updates before we even ask. Everything has been really great and comfortable moving back in. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reno work!

Designer : Team Gotten my house on May and decided to approach the local inn.terior to do my renovation. Team sat down with me and my husband and really talk through with on the design we want as we wanted something very bright and fun Team will share with me and my husband his thoughts and how he can improvise it with his strong design sense last but not least he also address us on the timeline as we really wanted to move in as soon as possible. During the course of work, Team constantly update us on the progress of the renovation. Even after renovation , if we encounter any question or problem he will get his man down to help us rectify it as soon as possible. Really glad to have Team to assist us on our first home reno.

I was very reluctant to write this review but I really think someone from the management team from the Local INN.terior should take note of this! I have deliberated with my wife on whether or not to voice this out, but it would have been injustice if we we hadn't. This may or may not affect future business, but we would like to commend Xavier Fong for his excellent service, eye for design and a natural flair for space planning. Being typical Singaporeans we have sat in for discussions with 10 different designers over the course of 1 month before landing an audience with master Xavier and he has swept us off our feet from our initial discussion. We were experiencing meeting fatigue until we met Xavier, who we really vibe with from the start. He was quick to understand what we wanted for our new BTO flat and was very careful when we said we wanted a dark home concept. He made sure we dug deep to ask ourselves certain questions and when we came to a decision, he went guns blazing with the conceptualization of our home. Project management wise i would give him a solid 10 out of 10. He was very prompt in replies, never would he avoid questions but was very pragmatic and logical with his planning methodologies. He was onsite most of the time, more often than we did and kept us up to date with the latest progress on the home. It felt like the house renovation was in great hands whenever he was there. poor boy was even coming by to do touch ups personally when we highlighted them. Boy, does this guy deserve a cookie. It was a smooth and seamless handover it has almost been two weeks but I still miss him from time to time. Good job Local INN! kudos to Xavier you guys got 2 really satisfied customers!

Engaged Team via words of mouth when I purchased my resale flat. Team is patient,detailed and bold enough to provide his ideas to me on the design and theme which I have in mind. He portrays and provides me with good customer experience by updating updates on progress. Even after the completion of my renovation,i am aware he is the person to go if I have encountered any issue. He will try to arrange time to come down and rectify the issue for me. No regret in approaching Team for my house’s renovation. Thumbs up!!
