The One Salon (Bishan North)

If only there is a 0.1 star rating. Please DO NOT buy any package from The One Salon (Bishan North). I bought a package last month. So I went over this afternoon to utilise my package. Walk into the salon was greeted by a lady. The moment she see my membership card, she talked very different (eg. I don't need you to show me the card now) even before I say what service I needed. Then I say I wanted to trim my hair and was told to pay $20 to wash before trimming if not after trimming the hair will not balance. I was like huh??? All along trimming at other shop uses spray then trim and touch up thereafter. Why do I need to pay for the washing of hair??? In the end did not use their service cos the professionalism is not there anymore after our conversation. Was told to go in and trim but will not be nice. Who dares to if you were to say there before even starting. Wasted my package bought.

Waited for almost two hours to cut and wash hair..bad management regretted signing the cut and wash package.

Saw an advertisement of a promotion due to opening for $5 instead of $28. I walked into the salon to get a haircut done for my eight year old. I requested for how I wanted it to be cut but the response i got from the hairdresser was her opinions and NOs. Ultimately she ended up doing a straight cut which was one of the quickest and easiest haircut anyone can get. I wanted to get my baby's hair cut as well but the response from the hairdresser was it's not going to work because she's going to move and suggested I should only cut her frinch. Exhausted by how she's giving me a lot of her opinions so I decided not to go along with it. When I got to the cashier. The lady told me I have to purchase a membership card for $30 to get 6 haircut done so that I could get $5 rate, otherwise it would be a $10 payment for today. I paid the $10 and showed my displeasure with how uninformed I am about the prices and the lady didn't respond. I am feeling really cheated and ripped off! This is exactly the type of shop you want to avoid and what I would labelled as 黑店! I would NOT recommend this shop or the one directly on the left as they are the same!

haircut was done extremely poorly. hairstylist cut my fringe so short without asking first, and as of now i'm stuck with this ugly mess of hair i'm embarrassed to even go to school with it. wish i could give 0 stars. ruined my appearance.

Weirdest salon I will never ever visit again. The hairdresser cut my hair in short time. While cut, he use force to remove my mask, afyer cut no wash. Just 2 seconds blow. I mean, you should at atleast wash away those hair @@ this salon just wasting my 10$

Very long queue - the aunty ( hairdresser) were rude when asked on how long is the waiting time and was taking her time to do other stuff. Worst is when they sell you their package for $80 card for 12 haircuts. Don’t patronize this salon as they were simply over crowded, understaffed, and not professional.

It was a terrible experience as the hairdresser do not listen to my request. Each request was being turn down by her reason.She kept asking if member and when i did not sign up new package she claims that promotion ending soon. Even though the price charged for each hair cut is reasonably low it should not be compensate for no request cut. I will not patronise it anymore and would like to speak to the management if possible.

My experience was extremely terrible, the hairdresser completely did not listen to my instructions. I told her that i do not want my sideburns cut, i wanted a centre parting cut and that all she had to do was trim my fringe above my eyebrows and cut the back of the head. What she did was completely against what I asked for, she cut off my sideburns even after repeated reminders by myself itself during the session, then afterwards she proceeded to line my hair cut into a line itself, and i was thinking to myself oh she is a professional she must know what she was doing, she should know how to do a centre parting haircut but guess what no that was it, she basically gave me a bowl haircut very amazing. Then afterwards she also blowed the hairblower very unprofessionally causing my hair to be blown onto my arms and subsequently onto my clothes as well. Overall it was a very upsetting experience, but what was the straw on the camel back, was how she refused to accept my membership card for my free haircut and I had to pay $10 for my haircut that I did not like at all, simply die to my instructions not followed at all. I feel immense regret over this, and to all those considering to patronize there are countless of other hair salons nearby patronize them rather than this one. If I could rate a 0/5 I would 10/10 would never ever come back, I feel scammed. More so I feel extremely embarassed by this ugly haircut, literally 2 classmates commented on how my haircut looked like a bowl haircut already
