The toasts are great, they nailed it with the bread. Brussel sprouts are a bit charred which gives a good kick and they are not shy with the toppings. Chai latte had too much spices for me, but I don't have it often so probably this is just how it is

Great food, specially the smoked salmon on toast. The Brussels sprouts however were a little dry, and the miso egg plant was a little bitter. Perhaps the miso was a tad burnt.

Was initially contemplating not leaving any negative review, since many F&B outlets have been affected during the pandemic, but decided to still leave one as the initial response from the cafe left much to be desired. Ordered the roasted eggplant with miso dressing toast, with an additional side of roasted mushrooms, and a coffee. Coffee and food were mediocre at best - eggplant could do with more seasoning and roasted longer. Can’t comment on the miso as I could barely taste it. What shocked me was the thick curly strand of hair found in the roasted mushrooms, which killed my appetite instantly. Brought it to the counter to inform the staff, so they could probably do a check and not serve hair to other unsuspecting customers. Was 100% civil and polite, and made sure not to kick up a fuss as the cafe was pretty full. The staff barely glanced at the mushrooms and said “oh it’s just mushroom fiber.” Anyone who has seen mushrooms will know that the fibers are nowhere as thick as that strand of hair. Cooking the fibers at high heat will also cause the fibers to soften - this is basic science. So I picked the “fiber” out and placed it right in front of the staff. It was so obvious it was a thick curly strand of hair (I can only speculate on what type of hair this was), and the staff was obviously caught off guard, but still unwilling to back down from her “mushroom fiber” theory. Instead she explained that this happened very often when the mushrooms are chopped, and they do get such “false alarms” very often. But she will take it back to the kitchen to check. There was no follow up, no apology. Honestly I would have been satisfied with the response if the staff bothered to at least spare more than that millisecond glance before confirming it was mushroom fiber. Sure the pandemic can be used as an excuse to go easy on the F&B, but what use is there if the staff has such a complacent attitude and worst - basic hygiene standards are not met?

Visited this cafe twice and really loved the ambience. It’s pretty bright due to the floor windows so it naturally attracts people’s attention when walking past the shop. There’s a section of selling sustainable products as well as a manicure corner. Otherwise, you can relax with your friends with a selection of toast, açai bowls and refreshments. I’ve tried their banana peanut butter and the avo & egg toasts. It’s pretty good and not too overly filling. The tea brew is quite cute, they will provide an interesting hourglass to tell you the time for letting the leaves brew in the hot water. Had a fun time playing with that.

A cozy coffee shop located on the corner of Singapore. With a wide range of teas, coffee, and bites, you can come here to relax, chitchat with friends or study while enjoying the drinks & food. Besides, there is a cute small workshop inside, pretty interesting! Would come back here again soon!

A really nice, relaxed place. The Avo & Egg is awesome every time and the loose leaf teas are good. The staff are always friendly. I just wish that when the staff take time to explain the 90/ 120 minute seating limits, they could provide a glass of water so that customers can remove their masks. Many restaurants are already doing this. The Social Space - please catch up.

A nice chilling space with such amazing concept! I went there and did not realize this. Love the idea(although i wasn’t prepared for other goods sold there), their staff, and also the food. We had a smoothie bowl, coffee and some toasties. And they were nice. The cafe was carefully looked after and cleaned. The staff is friendly and service minded. Please check it out.
