*Wary of dishonest practise* I am sharing my experience here in the hope that no one suffer this unpleasant encounter as me today. Approx 7 Sep 1900hrs, i have ordered a takeaway hokkien mee order of $4, rightly as the practise of the stall here we have to pay upfront before getting a queue number which i did so. i then told my girlfriend the queue number and she then waited around the vicinity as i go order other dishes for takeaway. When i am back, the queue number was not called yet, hence i waited for 10mins or so before the auntie manning the stall called number '2'. As i approach her, she ask me for the $4 again in which i mentioned i had paid up already. She insisted that i didnt and this went back and forth and as i have no "evidence" to show ( its just my words vs hers, no receipt whatsoever) i have no choice but to pay up again. Hope that others that experience this before in this stall do share here so as to serve as a caution for other user here especially those younger ones. careful of this auntie with short hair that takes the order. "i do not have much cash in my wallet with e-payment being prevalent nowadays nowadays hence its easy to count the money i have, its ok if the auntie made a mistake but she is very firm and keep insisting that i didnt pay without even checking which makes me all the more frustrated" careful guys!

Popiah is definitely not Michelin-worthy as it tasted quite ordinary. Skin at the two ends were too thick. Crunchy. $1.6 per popiah which is slightly pricey. I tried $1.5 popiah that are much better at elsewhere

A good popiah available from Ann chin popiah store, guess with the right ingredients you can't really go wrong. Ask for chilli version for a little kick. Price is at $1.60 per roll. They also sells fried hokkien prawn noodle, portion is available at $4 $5 $6 $8 $10. The noodles are cooked in a huge wok thus it is very flavourful. There are also seafood in the noodles, which are some prawns and spring rings.

Paid $4 for a plate of fried hokkien mee and $3.20 for 2 popiah. The hokkien mee tasted average but the sotong was too hard. The popiah tasted better but the skin was slightly too thick and hard. Service was friendly as the boss brought the food to our table (2 tables away from stall).

Like their hokkien mee but long waiting time as they cooked in big batches. Hokkien Prawn Mee($4) Wet style. Thick yellow and white noodles were used. Stock is umami. Comes with beansprouts, spring onion, succulent sotong, prawn and creamy eggs. Lime and sambal chilli to add flavour.

Sharing my experience based on the following 1 overall experience 2 taste 3 value 1.Visited stall on 17jan 2022 morning approximately 1030 am. Ordering experience was simple, just told the attendant I wanted prawn Noodles soup with beehoon n yellow noodles. He suggested $4 portion which I can't finish so went for the $3. 2.Soup was flavourful n had reminded me of what I used to eat as a boy some 35yrs back. Noodles were cooked and slightly springy 3. Was given 2 pieces of prawns bigger than 3cm each and a few pieces of pork no bigger than 3cm each. noodles portion was acceptable. They also offered red chilli powder. Overall this is worth a try.

Have been patronizing this hokkien noodles for 30 yrs,well came as last customer and nobody dining in except us...super safe that night Familiar aunty face with her smile although she is wearing mask.
