Whether its in-person classroom lessons or virtual sessions, the classes are equally engaging and enriching. Kazuya-sensei is very clear yet patient with his explanation, and gives room for students to learn at a comfortable pace. The teaching approach is also varied and targets different aspects of the language, creating a well-rounded experience. Happy to have embarked on my learning journey with Tomo!

Tomoka Sensei is patient, kind and always very willing to share a lot of information and fun things with the class. The classes are also well paced. Although with Covid, we are having lessons on Zoom but it did not impact the learning experience. Recommended for everyone who wants to start on their Japanese language journey.

Her lessons are fun, interesting, flexible and interactive. For basic lessons, you will get lots of opportunities to practice speaking and listening with your classmate/sensei. In-class games and quiz are also great to help improve conversational skills and grammatical understanding. Great option for learners who want to pick up Japanese :)

Although the lessons are conducted online at present, the learning experience was comfortable, interesting, enjoyable and interactive. The lesson notes handed out and slides shared during each lesson was well structured, prepared and easy to understand. My class teacher, Tomoka-sensei, is friendly, patient and professional, which motivates the class and makes the learning of Japanese language interesting and enjoyable during lessons.
j	js on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been with Tomo Japanese School since July 2021, I started off at the beginners’ course with absolutely no knowledge of the Japanese language. Now, I am currently in Basic Course Part 4 under Takemoto 先生, and I am able to read, speak, and write at a basic level, I am personally satisfied with my progress! Although my lessons have all been online due to covid, they are still as interactive and efficient as an in-person class. Not only do I have a great teacher who is patient, understanding and kind, I also have classmates who will help each other out as we try our best to learn together. In addition to that, the flow of the lessons are smooth and easy to follow, as well as the activities that are efficient and effective towards my progression in learning Japanese. As physical classes are starting to open up, I am excited to continue developing my Japanese language skills with Tomo Japanese School, and become more fluent!
b	bluebell_ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been learning for a while now and I can testify that the notes provided are understandable and lessons are done at a pace that is suitable for most students ? my teacher Takemoto sensei is very friendly and kind, and I really feel comfortable learning Japanese from her. The class size is usually 18~20, and due to the pandemic, the lessons are conducted online. However, it is not much of a hindrance. I can highly recommend people interested in learning the language to choose Tomo Language School.
D	Dave Chong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been studying in Tomo Japanese for nearly a year now, have been part of the physical and online classes (due to covid measurements). Despite being held online, my teacher was very adaptive in helping out the slower students as well as giving a higher challenge to the faster learning students which in turn progresses everyone at their own pace. (IMO, teaching on Zoom is a very difficult task and my teacher did it flawlessly. All props to Kazuya sensei) Highly recommended to anyone who is interested in picking up the japanese language. As of May 2022, all classes has resumed in a physical classroom.
