Very bad service and attitude from the stall uncle. The uncle limit the packet of rices and chillis can be bought by the order of the chicken. We bought a roast chicken and half white chicken and was limited to 4 packet of rice for half chicken portion and 6 packet of tice for a whole chicken order. Where we ask for 15 packet of rice altogether was rudely rejected by the uncle with sarcastic remarks. Next, i really felt cheated with the chicken portion after he debone the chicken. There are not much different between a whole roasted and a half white chicken portions other than the drumstick and chicken wings that we can differentiate them. Both the chicken portions look the same and they purposely leave out the cucumbers from the half chicken packet. Iwe dont think it is too much to ask for additional one packet of chilli where I was given 3 packet of chilli by the Uncle. We dont think we need to accept their bad behavior and attitudes toward us. We will not recommend this stall and would recommend other stall like master chicken ( which is two stall away) where their tasty snd portion are similar to this stall. We will not buy from this stall or brand if we have a choice or other choices from now. The worse chicken rice attitude stall that " must try " if you are keen to get frustrated.

Cost of one plate of chicken rice is indicated as $2.50 or $3.50. Stall uncles have the unscrupulous practice of charging the more expensive amount as your default order. Moreover, there is no distinguishable difference in terms of rice or chicken. If you decide to patronize this stall, indicate the price of your order clearly.

Chicken is nice and tender. Get the $3.50 chicken rice because the $2.50 one has very little meat. Uncle is to the point but not rude lah

It’s quite good and popular. However, I would advise ppl to visually check when they are preparing takeaways. It has happened to me 3-5 times when ordering takeaways that they gave me different from what I ordered, the most recent being yesterday when they gave me chicken breast and a wing when I ordered drumstick.

A popular chicken rice stall in this hawker centre. The rice is on spot and chicken is tender.

Average chicken rice stall featuring our late founding Father. Chicken was overcooked to the point where it became mushy / grainy, where the fibres are broken down too much. Many would find it “soft & tender” because they can’t differentiate between overcooked mushy chicken, and perfectly tender chicken (e.g. done via sous vide). Perhaps that’s the reason why this stall is appealing mostly to the older generation. All I hope is for the stall owner to do more research on preparing juicier, tender chicken to live up to the standards of photos placed on his storefront.

Hainanese chicken rice at Kim Keat Palm Market. Generous serving of rice but the chicken portion is quite small for standard portion $3.5 per plate. The rice is nice which has the chicken stock flavor and not too oily. The ginger dip sauce is heavenly when eat with rice and chicken together. Good size for one adult at affordable price and good tasting food.

Chicken Rice (SGD $4.50) @ Tong Fong Fatt Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice. . This brand has many oulets across Singapore, but they generally function individually, like a loose collection of stalls that just share a common supplier. . Since there's so much independence, some stalls only sell poached chicken, while others have roast chicken on their menu. . Quality differs as well, though I find the outlets in Bukit Merah, Toa Payoh, Amoy, and Bedok, to be pretty good. The chicken is thin sliced but tender and juicy, the gravy lending a meaty savoury salty sweet nutty note. . The rice is medium oily, fragrant with grainy savoury sweet flavour. Sliced cucumbers with vegetal sweet flavour, a full-flavoured cloudy chicken broth, and the trio of dipping sauces complete.
