Toys"R"Us - Great World City

Very good shopping experience vs the other branches, perhaps due to less cluttered feeling here. Also maybe due to less crowd here, the displayed items are less messy compared to other branches where occasional destruction of toys are found due to large young shoppers... lol

Bought a toy on sale at 10.49 (discounted 14.99) - clearly shown by the sign. As i paid for it, the cashier told me she has just changed the sign and the price was reverted to 14.99 - something which i was not told prior to paying. To prove it - she literally showed me the sign which she just took down a minute ago. I asked for a refund to which she said ‘i’m the only one working here’ In the end, as there was a long queue behind me, i told her i’ll just get the receipt and go. Toys r us should work on your understaffing problem and also customer fronting skills.

Great place during Christmas for kids and whenever you need to buy a toy.

TERRIBLE customer service experience at Toys R Us Great World City. A $104.99 Transformer Toy broke within 2mins of use on Christmas Day. It was the one toy my son wanted for Christmas and was a super upsetting outcome for him. I came to the store to return it along with the matching toy that was to be his birthday gift. Naturally I no longer had faith in the quality of the products so requested a refund for both. At first I was indignantly sent away by counter staff. Then only after I asked to speak to a manager was a gift voucher offered by said manager. Upon looking at the voucher I noticed the manager hadn't refunded both toys. After pointing this out he was clearly embarrassed. Then rather than apologising and refunding the other toy he proceeded to act like a toddler. He started yelling that he wouldn't refund the second toy and stormed off without finishing the conversation. He didn't return my receipt, and left me stranded at the counter. I now have a $104.99 toy I no longer want, and a gift voucher to spend at a store I no longer feel comfortable shopping in. It was a highly inappropriate way to treat a customer. I reached out to Toys "R" Us Singapore via their customer service email, Instagram and Facebook, but received nothing more than an automated response.

Wonderful experience. I've visited many Toys"R"US shops around the world and this is my favority this far. Great dinosaurs robots moovong and roaring around the shop. Design and displayes are colorful and plentiful. Very much recommended for kids and adults as well :)

Very bad customer service. We want to buy a toy to surprise our daughter on her birthday , but there is no gift wrapping service, they only give wrapping paper and they don’t even lend me the costape (it’s at the counter) so I can do it by myself in the store. I explained I can’t bring the toys home coz my daughter will know what it is and then no more surprise for her. But the staff is just keeping quiet as if I am talking to a stone not a human being. Luckily I checked out Takashimaya toys store at level 4, they offer free gift wrapping service, the listed price for the toys is 20$ cheaper and they even give me a free tin of cookies. Has so many varieties of Lego Theme sets that are fairly priced. Good stocking and kids can try some of those sets before you commit to pay. It's a joy to see children learn building these and still hasn't fun doing it.

Shop for Xmas gifts. Situated is at the corner of the mall and items quite packed up. Hope they can add some unique toys from other countries which are trending, unique and more interesting.
