β β β β β Quite a shocker that this organization pays trained social workers an extremely low rate of SGD3 - 3.5K for the amount of work the workers have to undertake. A recognised and specialised degree with 2-3 years of SW experience elsewhere pays much, much, much higher. Not ALL social workers are driven by the passion to improve clients' quality of life. Passion is a word that's abused. Even social workers too have families, expenses, etc., and $3K is really lowball amount. So many social workers work longer hours, are mentally and emotionally drained, physically worn out and have their own set of concerns, on top of handling clients' issues, and for all that, the pay is unbelievably low. Hope you value your social workers and advocate for better/higher remuneration.
