Slowest customs line for non nationals when entering but departures are the complete opposite.

Our Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints are a clear indication of the true Singapore efficiency. Slow like a sloth. I cannot believe that even after getting stuck at Malaysia side for about 1 hour, we still have to queue at Tuas checkpoint for another 1 hour, when the cars from Malaysia were already entering Singapore at a slower than usual pace. I have sent in my feedbacks to ICA multiple times that they really need to improve on their speed. But there were no improvements and no actions taken to prosecute those queue cutters. ICA is only good at NATO - No action, talk only. It’s truly unpleasant to be trapped for 2 hours when the journey could’ve been only 30 minutes. ICA really needs to speed things up. At the speed ICA are doing things, we are truly no difference from Malaysia or even worse.

High efficiency for the immigration officer, but massive traffic in weekends. Many cars squeezes into lane to get faster, bit chaos for new driver. Be prepared sufficient amount for the cashcard to pay. No top up here.

Bunch of inefficient jokers. Wonder why we pay tax for the checkpoint where they only have enough manpower to check for 1 bus each time. Even Malaysia clears faster than us. Malu sia. A walkway to Tuas Link MRT is also long overdue.

Very bad experience at the Tuas check point. We traveled down from Malaysia but our tour bus drop off point at Bugis. To save time, we decided to make our own way home at Tuas check point, because we live in west side. Checked from Google that there is a Bus No.182 right beside the exit gate which can lead us to one of the MRT station. However, when we walked out from the gate, police officer stopped us and informed us that we could not walk out from the gate, must take a bus from bus bay which is inconvenient for people like us who don’t travel with Bus frequently at Tuas checkpoint due to there are no eye catching sign boards or information to indicate the regulations for not allowing people walk out. Btw, police officers are very polite and kind, a big thumb up for them. But the overall information experience is bad, hope you can improve it for other travellers or citizens who are not familiar with the regulations.

Very slow even when not many cars. They don't even open half of counters (Malaysian side opens 90 percent) and take their own sweet time. Staff directed me to the counter that has to wait longer?. They got two buildings for cars but only open one. Took 44 minutes to get across the Singaporean side but only 7 minutes to get across the Malaysian side. Very inefficient.

any travellers wishing to cross the border have to take note that this checkpoint isn't able to cross by foot. Need to go to nearest MRT (Tuas Link) to take the CW bus to cross border. Other than that, a hassle free experience.

When entering Singapore, the lanes are separated into Singaporeans’ one and foreigners’ one. And the former is automatic but the latter is staffed one. Foreigners are not a few but there were only two personnels. From getting off the bus to getting on again, it took 45 minutes(most Malaysia-Singapore buses announce they wait for only 30 minutes for immigration check). I was desperate but the bus was kindly waiting for me and another foreigner tourist(we’re the last). But I was sorry for other passengers though it’s not me but the sluggish personnels who are to blame. One advice from me is to remember the plate number of your bus(or take a photo of the bus).
