My son loves this school very much and is well much loved by his fantastic teacher. Highly recommended

I was abused as a child back in this childcare center about 20 years ago. To put it short, I was a very obedient child but was cornered, ostracized and made to pull my ears outside a circle where the teacher sat with the other kids. My younger brother back then had several bites on his neck from another kid (due to neglect by the teachers) whom I have informed of the incident but they ignored. I went home to tell my dad who then filed a police report against them for overenrolment and neglect, and went to the scrhool to warn them. When he left, it was a total nightmare for me, the teachers shamed me and called me a liar in front of all the other kids. After weeks of abuse, I finally opened up and told my father who then switched us to another preschool, but the painful memories still haunts me 27 years later. My brother whom they neglected is now a doctor, I am a financial controller, but the memories of abuse and humiliation from this preschool haunted me till adulthood and made me quit my high-paying job to become a preschool teacher, as I want to undo all the wrongs that was done to me in this place. The teachers might have changed, but I'm writing this to finally get it off my chest.

My son was at Twinkle around 10 years ago. Even at that time, there were still some remainders of the tougher, old style upbringing of children in Singapore. Times have changed, people have changed. Still, my son was overall happy there. I can't quite understand how a 20 years old experience would be relevant today. Not even my 10 years old experience is relevant. But i love the space the kids have there. Avoid indoor only childcare centres is my recommendation.
