The place looked really cosy with nice plants and lighting decor and is spacious by today's standards. Service is prompt and friendly. the name is a little bit misleading cuz the non-pastry mains were the main attractions imho. Ordered the rosti and pork chop and the meat is def tender and chewable while the rosti is v well done and for that price of 22 they better do it well.. No sour cream but the sweet savory sauce was nicely matched. However, the dessert felt like a miss and that's the irony since it is two baker. The taro Blanc is def V.good but the strawberry short cake and the dessert that looked like stone was all looks but normal tasting.

second visit here, this time with family. ordered for myself the same rosti with smoked salmon and poached eggs. rosti was crisp at the edges. would prefer if it was less salty and oily. kid took alacarte rosti, with ham and sour cream. paid $2 for a small dollop of sour cream. this can be improved food nicely plated though. coffee was decent. small place and it can get really noisy at peak hours.

When it comes to dining at cafes with innovative menus, there are two usual outcomes. You either feel it was too novel at the expense of the food, or you feel like the chefs are actually on to something good. Two Bakers not only met the latter, it left us wanting more and really keen to return and try the rest of what they have to offer! For the rosti lovers who frequent Marche for their rosti, you will absolutely love their Rosti Eggs Benny which comes with french ham and sous vide poached eggs. Their Chilli Crab French Toast comes with a very generous serving of chilli crab and is topped with miso egg custard and small tamago cubes that adds a nice touch of sweetness to balance what could have easily become too heavy a dish. Their Dorayaki Pancakes comes with 3 pancakes and also a generous serving of matcha custard that matches really well with the sweetness of Japanese azuki beans. While the minty hot chocolate may leave mint lovers a tad disappointed, I was perfectly fine with it as the mint taste was not overpowering. The combination of insta-worthy interior, food that look and taste great, and most importantly what is imo a great dollar-to-delight ratio, Two Bakers ticks all of the boxes for what I feel makes a great must-try cafe and is a place we are already planning to return soon.

Two Bakers CafΓ©, which is located at 88 Horne Road, 209083, has received many positive reviews on social media with one of the chefs previously trained at Le Cordon Bleu Paris. During the Labour Day and Hari Raya Puasa holidays, we had brunch at this CafΓ© to find out for ourselves if this cafΓ© was deserving of the attention as one of the best breakfast place in Singapore. We ordered their flagship brunch, β€œTwo Bakers Breakfast” (S$24), which has scrambled eggs, sautΓ©ed mushrooms, tater tots, avocado, smoked BBQ beans, spicy Italian sausage, sourdough toast, balsamic tomatoes, salad. Scrambled eggs’ portion was huge and good for two persons, avocado was firm and freshly cut, smoked beans were well balanced and nothing you have eaten. The Italian sausage, which was about 7-8 inches long, was not too spicy and definitely very tasty. However, the salad was a bit of a disappointment as it appeared to be soaked in vinaigrette dressing for sometime and hence, it was mushy and felt like leftover salad. They would be better if the vinaigrette dressing were applied just before serving. At Two Bakers CafΓ©, you could also build your own brunch. It has wide selection of 22 items to choose from (e.g. 4 different types of eggs, 2 types of sausages, etc.) and you could also indicate the quantity of each of the items chosen. We also ordered the 64 degree egg, spicy pork sausage, pork bacon and sourdough toast. This combo portion is good enough for light breakfast. The 64 degree egg was done well; not overdone or too runny. The 2 strips of pork bacon were ordinary as we would like them to be slightly crispier and saltier. The cappuccino came with intricate artwork design which put a smile on our faces. At S$5.50, it was reasonable price. Intensity and flavour of the beans were quite similar to the usual high street coffee chains. However, I would prefer my coffee to be warmer than what was actually served. This place was crowded and queues were forming outside at late morning. Advance booking is recommended if you prefer to sit indoors. Otherwise, there are a few tables outdoors. While the Two Bakers CafΓ© prided itself to be a great place to hangout, we were given up to 90 minutes to enjoy our meal by the serving crew before we had to vacate our table. Overall, this place definitely garnered much social media attention but in terms of value and food-wise, its breakfast was, in my opinion, above average (4*) for the brunch items which we had selected. However, we would like visit this place again to try their mains during lunch and dinner next time.

Had Earl Grey tart and cheesecake. Both not bad. Did not order much food as we were still full. Probably will try their mains and coffee at my next visit.

This is awesome...nice ambience and good chill-out except that location is a little out of the way. Raspberry chocolate cake is good but the lemon cake is a little heavy... coffee's great too. Loved the salmon soba. Refreshing! Pricey though!

My friend and I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and there were plenty of seats, not sure why its not so crowded when the food was good! Lovely place with very friendly staff. Got myself the earl grey infused pancakes and a ice latte. The pancakes are really good! My friend got the beef rice bowl with generous amounts of meet. Will definitely visit here again.

Came here with family on a Monday morning. Plenty of seats, didn't see any baby chairs so thought they didn't have. Turns out they keep them at the back to save space. Would've been nice if the staff had offered to bring out a baby chair. Food wise, it's a tad pricey. But definitely worth the bucks spent. Portion size is large, and tastes pretty good. Presentation and ambience is also great. The main issue for not giving 5 stars was the waiting time. I took about 40 minutes for the food to arrive. In addition, the staff only informed us that the food will take some time AFTER we ordered and paid. We could've decided to go somewhere else instead of waiting.
