G	G Eben on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh My goodness! This brought me back to my childhood days in 通和村@Neo Tiew Rd. It’s 10/10 ⭐️ (for me) for this fried carrot cake (black). Not too sweet, with preserved radish, my late grandma would put some pork floss on top of my dish (Uncle Lim put prawns), hint of garlic, lots of eggs and very beautiful. And the dish tells a story about a hawker’s struggles in life, his resilience and pride in his stall.
S	Sharon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uncle serves up a plate of delicious fried hokkien mee. Thin bee hoon version with good wok hei. No sotong, but the prawns and pork belly used were fresh. Fresh ingredients in crucial for food served and uncle got it here ?. The aroma and gravy was very inviting when it's served immediately on the spot. Gravy was absorbed by the noodles and its flavour intensify when packed for takeaways. Tried uncle's oyster omelette too. Well flavoured with fresh and plump oysters. No spring onions or coriander to balance the palate though. Edit to update, tried uncle's Char Kway Tiao too. Didn't enjoy it for takeaway like I do with his hokkien noodles. This is down to personal preference.
