There were only 2-3 customers & there were 3 staff on duty but macik’s tone was impatient when i tried to order ikan penyat take-away & did not seem willing to provide cutlery when i realised it was missing. When i first patronised their stall some time ago, the food was so-so but soup was salty. Definitely not returning again

First time trying it, the taste is not bad. We ordered delivery and the food came fast and warm. Portion is sufficient for us. There’s cherry tomatoes and vegetables too. Curry and sambal sauces are packed separately as well. The sauces tasted great too! Both the steam chicken and fried chicken are alright, can be much tender. Overall, satisfactory.

Was buying loads of stuff, placed my order for 2 Ayam Penyet Sets, made payment and forgot to.pick it up... we didn't realize until we got home... sigh

Ayam Penyet is my favourite food but i am regret to eat there … Chilli is very very spicy and hot . It’s not eatable.Chicken is a bit oil and just a normal taste . I will not try there again.

This is writing to Uncle Penyet at Kampong Admiralty outlet, we would like to lodge a complaint to one of your cashiers. My helper loves your dishes so much that she has been ordering her meals at your Kampong Admiralty outlet whenever we have our meals there. Incident happened on the 19 Feb around 1 plus noon time, my helper went to your outlet as usual to order Nasi Ayam Penyet Set. She is from Indonesia so her Bahasa is different from our local Malay language. Your cashier was asking something that my helper wasn't sure, so your cashier got very angry and shouted very loudly at my helper and everyone around was looking at what is going on. Myself and my family was at the other end so we were not sure what's going on. What makes me angry is, your kitchen staffs were all laughing and no one is willing to come forward to help her. She was so confused and does not understand what was going on and why your cashier needs to shout at her as she is just merely ordering something that she likes. My helper was so scared and was trying to apologize and even tried to use mandarin to apologize in case your cashier does not understand her Indonesia Bahasa. However, your cashier asked her "are you from Indonesia" why can't you speak proper Bahasa and need to speak in mandarin. This makes my helper more scared and quickly walked away. My helper is trained and she understands Mandarin to help me who has mobility issues. However, I cannot accept your cashier who is in the service line to treat a foreigner with such kind of attitude and disclaim her for speaking another language just because she is from Indonesia. I would like to meet up with your management and also seek an apology from your cashier for such unacceptable behaviour.

I had a takeaway. The meal comprised of grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes, lettuce, rice and sauces. The chicken was marinated and grilled well. It taste good too. The curry and sambal sauce were neatly packed in small containers. It’s not that spicy which I like.The only grouse is the rice portion. They could have been a little more generous. Even though I’m a light eater, I still find it not substantial enough.

Was here for the first time and also brought my own box for takeaway. Food was good and portion was decent. Bought the Panggang chicken (which kinda humours me since it sounded like 'end-work' chicken in hokkien) Chicken was fragrant and nicely marinated. Curry drizzle a top the rice was fragrant, not spicy and mildy sweet. What surprises me the most is the chilli! It is so good! With the chilli being this nice, I assume the ayam penyet should be good too. Will purchase that to try next round.
