absolutely love the concept of this store. reducing plastic waste is so much more effective than reusing or recycling. i really hope that there will be more stores like this which allows patrons to bring their own packaging and purchasing only the amount they need.

Great initiative, and frankly, all stores selling dry items should be like this. The amount of plastic used these days is excessive. Would've given 5 stars, if not for some staple things being out of stock, and also the fact that some things are slightly more expensive than regular. With no packaging involved, they should try to make it cheaper. I don't think it's necessary for everything to be organic and exotic. Some staple produce should also be made available, which is cheap. Nevertheless, they are the only store to take the initiative, and they must be applauded for it. Finally, someone's taken a stand

Girlfriend loves to shop here, donate reusable containers. Wide variety of products, helping zero waste and being eco friendly. The pistachios are the best!

Very good experience browsing through all the products that contribute to the zero waste lifestyle. The staff are friendly and helpful in explaining the different products on display. Brought my own empty bottles for the floor cleaner and soap, and a beeswax wrap for covering dishes. If only I live nearer, I'll probably visit it every other week.

Abysmal customer service attitude which was horrendously off-putting. Considering that this shop with niche appeal is in a quiet neighbourhood with limited footfall, such prissy attitude talking back to customers is unlikely to garner customer loyalty. Think your arrogance can put money in the bank and food in your tummy during a pandemic where there's a looming retail apocalypse with so much business migrating online? The shop clearly has limited stock where I'm doubtful about freshness and hygiene due to limited turnover I can sense from the sleepy neighbourhood. Clientele will largely be hippie types or snowflake types who consider themselves as some saviour of the earth. Retail is difficult enough without actively chasing customers via your obnoxious behaviour. IF I want to consider zero waste , I can always go to Scoop in a mall where I can run other errands at the same time. They've got a gigantic inventory which I'm inclined to believe is fresher because they have more turnover due to their mass market locations. I won't be going to Scoops either because I think they're too pricy. The irony is that I'd actually rather support local to begin with.

Happy to have an eco friendly store nearby, but the prices are relatively steep. Only thing I can foresee myself buying would be the chickpeas again, but service is lacking. Borrowed a jar but felt like I was committing a crime for not bringing my own. Bought a bamboo toothbrush but it was way too expensive and didn’t last long. Don’t know when I will be back as scoop is a much better option for buying perishables.

Such a thoughtfully planned space packed with products of all sorts. From shaving bar, to pet shampoos, this place gives their customers choices and suggestions to opt for an eco-friendly lifestyle.

A very good go green initiative! Plus the aesthetics are great! I came here to buy a menstrual cup! There are many things you can purchase, with most of the products leaning toward the ideal of being environmentally friendly!
