Today i went to lor 7 Toa Payoh hawket n market. The value shop is just nearby the market. The Zhao Zhou fishball noodles stall sells delicious big fish ball. Stall no is #01-20. The price is $3 for a bowl of noodle w 5 fish ball. The famous Long Hse popiah is also located there. The yu tiao is 70 cents for a piece..quite cheap. The roti prata stall prata is crispy n not oily. The wadai is also good for the price of $2 for 3pcs.

Whilst I like browsing in the Value chain, I do not like their service. Cashiers all over are rude. In particular, there was a foreign worker cashier at the bendemeer mall who makes snide remarks.

Staff there are not helpful. My mother could not get up the step to pay for her things and needed help on helping her pay for the coffee we usually buy from this shop. Can you all train your staffs to be helpful as this area there is alot of old people. I thought service line should have go the extra mile service. And to me its kinda rude when an old lady is asking for help but rather than helping they ignore it. What kind of a retail shop is this. I know your shop are cheap but please your attitude should not be this way. The first bad exprience here with shops. Ive stayed here for gg 9years never come across this kinda attitude sales staff. Please educate your staffs to be willingly to help and go extra mile. Not so much of extra mile but atleast be helpful. Don't tell me coz my mother is malay you all can just ignore okay coz ive seen them help other races but im shocked why they can't help my mother. If you see this review get your management to get back to me. Coz i really cannot tolorate this kind of things.

The shop at toa payoh central offers the best prices. Everfresh bath still selling at $2.95, compared to $3.95 elsewhere. Nescafé gold at $ 8.95. I paid $10.95 at BT Batok.

Value dollar does it mean below value service??? Chinese lady at Toa Payoh outlet definitely needs to improve on customer service attitude and mind set. 8 Nov Monday 2.30pm - doing cashier duty but chose to ignore the long Q at the other counter and walked away when I approached her counter. Asked if her counter was open, she was busy chatting and ignored my question. Fed up left the shop without making a purchase.
