I am very impressed with this company. i only purchased one tie. it came hand made to perfection. no company tag no keeper just a perfect tie. additionally there was a hand written note and a sample of a similar material. absolutely impressed with the understated value this company provides. and even though i have all the ties and pocket squares a man needs I will definitely be buying more of this companies fantastic products. make no mistake when you open your package from Vanda Fine Clothing you will fine exceptional hand made products inside. I believe this has unexpectedly become the highest quality tie i own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think I first learned of Gerald and Diana and their workshop from Graham Wong's blog (tumblr?) back in the day (2010-ish)? And then I moved to Jakarta in 2011, just a short flight from Singapore, so I was able to visit in person and handle bolts of beautiful cloth (some of which they developed with weavers on their travels). They are incredible artisans in both their handiwork as well as their eye for design. Nearly all my favorite ties are Vanda. Their grenadines are particularly beautiful. I also enjoy that as a slightly taller person, I can have them made longer so the proportion of the blades is better. If you're so lucky in the future as to be able to visit the workshop, do it. Ordering online will still get you beautiful work, and without paying for branding (the lack of a keeper is also a nice touch:). Beautiful work from lovely people.

At one glimpse you can see that these are works of a true artisan, and the quality of fabric is extraordinary. They should be charging twice what they are for the magnificent quality and level of customization. And that's not to mention the excellent customer care and attentiveness Gerald and Diana give their customers.
If you desire to set yourself apart as a sartorial splendor, look no further. I will be ordering all of my ties from Vanda from now on.
