★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a student years ago. Can safely say that they caused childhood trauma which I've tried to overcome again and again. Nicholas Doggett said I was a sack of potatoes. He made sure I knew I was one of the weakest students and insisted the school's reputation was too important to sacrifice in letting me be put up for abrsm examinations. They are truly one of the music schools that sucks the soul out of their student's passion for music. To this day, every time I encounter unjust institutions, I remember that this was the first one that started it all for me. Truly a rotten experience that left a bitter taste for life.
