Special bowl of fruits and beans and seaweed, with your choice of base(rice, noodles or vegetables). Flavourful barbecued meat with choice of sauce(liked the spicy mayo). Overall a balanced meal with the fruits and rice and protein! Tried the sake clams too and it was good! Definitely worth a visit!

The charred taste of skewers is up to my expectations. Keep it up! All these for $21.10 only! Better than yakiniku and toriQ definitely

Nice Japanese food. Healthy ingredients and owner take time to explain their dish. Portion may be small for others but fir me it is just nice. Price is reasonable since food quality is high.

Portions are generous. I can say at $7.90 you can't buy this anywhere else in SG except this volk at taman Jurong hawker centre. The vegs are fresh and there is variety - cherry tomatoes, pineapple, edemame , cucumber, seaweed. Definitely very very worth it!

Pretty good value for $7.90. Family business with mother and son operating the stall and I wanted to support them. The boss was polite and helped with my payment using CDC vouchers. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for offering these amazing bowls at such friendly prices! It’s like my other fav poke theory but without the sashimi and half the price… I had these this weekend and was pleasantly surprised with the addition of guavas and onsen egg to the bowls! The bowls was brimming as toppings were really generous- please don’t change this. Although I would like to feedback that the pork skewers were a little tough but Im still happy to eat them. The chicken ones were nice and juicy. Also, please open more outlets in east area. I’d love to support more frequently.

Great food and super nice boss! The portions are so generous, the salmon bowl is so wholesome and delicious. The star for me was the sake clams and my hub’s the tamago-yaki! We really enjoyed our dinner, thank u boss!

Volk means 'people' in German. This yakitori and grain bowls stall is located on the 3rd level which opened on 3rd November 2020 by a Ex Grand Hyatt Hotel Chef, Eldad Tan. There are total 8 types of grains bowls. Tried the Chicken Skewer Bowl $7.90 comes in 3 skewers and generous portion of cucumbers,wakame(Japanese Seaweed Salad), broccoli, cherry tomatoes, sweet pineapple. Can choose between Sushi rice or brown rice. Never noticed there's a Avocado rice $9.90,if not will definitely try it. The yummy chicken skewers are grills over an electric grill and after that flame torching them. Add on Oyster Mushroom $1.20 taste good. There are total 12 skewers. These are the following items: chicken thigh $1.80, chicken wings $1.80, chicken heart $1.50, pork belly $1.80, pork shoulder $1.80, bacon enoki $2.00, bacon tomato $2.00, bacon okra $2, oyster mushroom $1.20, sweet corn $1.20, Quail Egg $1.50 and prawn $2.80.
