What's up with all the one star reviews? They made their chicken to order and you are complaining about the wait?!?!? Sheesh... Eh, there's a wait outside of peak hours because there are also online orders. Cannot wait go buy KFC lah. Their chicken is actually better than Four Fingers. Crispy on the outside. Moist and tender on the inside, even for breast meat portions. Agreed that honey and butter is the best out of the four flavours available. Tenders were sold out at 1600hrs. Darn...

Delicious and authentic Korean fried chicken. Love the sweet and spicy chicken best followed by the soy chicken and then honey and butter chicken.

Juicy and delicious. The battered is thin but covers the chicken evenly. Itโ€™s not oily unlike KFC. Will definitely try other flavours.

Have been followed Waker chicken since visited their Holland Dr stall. My family & I went on first day that Bukit Batok stall open. The fried chickens taste the great as Holland Dr. It is now my family favorite fried chickens, because they fried it fresh, chicken is crispy & juicy. The flavor depends on what you like. "Honey butter" is sticky fragrance. "Soy Sauce" is a salty sweet. "Sweet Spicy" is not actually spicy, more like sweet chili sauce. These 2 are more watery because of the sauces. Most people might not know there is about 15 to 20 minutes waiting time after order placed. Because it is not a Fast Food chain which chickens fried, kept there, & only reheat it when someone order. No it is not like that!! Ok!! ^^ For price comparison, If I can get 3 piece chicken at fast food chain for about $10+, I would rather pay $14+ for 7 pieces chickens from Waker. The portion & experience is more worth it. I don't need the soft drink & fries anyway. So about 2 weeks later, I went back took away some more chickens too~ It is just walking distance away from Bukit Gombak MRT station, can walk via sheltered pedestrian path from the MRT, then cross the road to opposite near Block 383.

Pretty tasty fried chicken but itโ€™s quite a wait even though buying early before 6pm on a weekday. The guys are very busy preparing orders so donโ€™t expect nice service. Itโ€™s fast and efficient customer service. Tried the soy sauce chicken twice. Itโ€™s sweet and flavored well not too overpowering but must eat immediately or it turns soggy as the sauce is more watery than other Korean chicken or FourFingers. The honey butter flavor is often sold out. Managed to grab one to try and it was really tasty. Itโ€™s a honey butter powder seasoning that you just sprinkle over it and coat the fried chicken with. Itโ€™s creamy, salty and sweet at the same time so I can understand why itโ€™s most popular. I think itโ€™s better than the soy sauce as the chicken stays crispy longer. The meat is still juicy even though itโ€™s been fried. The half portion for soy & spicy is $14 and the honey butter is $15. They charge GST on top of that so I paid $29.60 for 2 half chickens. Quantity is enough to feed 4 adults who donโ€™t eat too much. Wouldnโ€™t mind eating again when Iโ€™ve a craving. But I think no need to drive all the way to try it. Eat only if in the area.

Tried all the variants except the honey butter one (was unavailable unfortunately) and they were all pretty decent. The Sweet Spicy one isn't really spicy at all though. Flavors could be stronger in my opinion. Price for the portions kinda high, especially since some of the parts were small.

Love the juicy and flavourful Korean fried chicken from Waker chicken. Not overly salty. While we find the original stall at Toa Payoh still delivers the best crispy chicken, the standard at this BB stall is still good.
