West Coast Billiard Saloon - Westway #01-01

One of the best saloon. Friendly staff, big area to accommodate many snooker and pool tables. No problem looking for parking lots for car and bike owners. Reasonable carpark rate & a small cafe provides snacks, meals, hot and cold beverages. The food and drinks are a little expensive but probably due to the monthly rental fee. Overall, it is a nice place for entertainment to the snooker and pool customers.

Been ages since I stepped into a billiard saloon. The last time was prob this same saloon when it was located at West Coast Recreation Centre. Lots of things feel the same but there were updates too, e.g. a couple of auto billiard balls washing machines, most of the felt were pretty new too, house cues were in decent condition, etc.. good to be back.

Pros: This billard room has a very interesting atmosphere with a small little restaurant complimenting the multiple pool and snooker tables that they have. The center also includes multiple restaurants a bowling alley and a gaming cafe if you want to mix it up. Cons: Sometimes when I have told my friends about this place they would have a hard time finding the building and the billard room itself. So remember to describe specifically the location of the place when recommending the place.

Promo price is really cheap and the place is quiet and comfortable.

Update 31 May 2022: With pubs and karaoke opened, this place is less crowded. Now opens to 1am. Update 15 March 2022: Still good quality table, cues and balls. Opens to 2am. First time visiting after it shifted to Westway. Good quality table, cues and balls. Because of safe distancing measures, every alternate table is closed.

Very nice place to play billiard, big space and price are reasonable. Table are good too well maintained. Recommended ??????

Had a very unpleasant experience today. We are a group of 6 pax coming over to play pool. Out of a sudden, the malay lady of a name of nana (manning the counter) came over to our table and said "I said max 5 people, not 5 players." Was quite shock when she said in this manner. As I am not sure what was the reason, i asked her nicely "May I ask what was the reason" She replied "Because it is covid!" I asked her to chill in her reply and just wanted to check what was the reason. Her next reply to me was even worst, "Sorry to say that but isn't it stupid to ask as it is covid now". I might be wrong but to my understanding, there shld not be any restriction in the group size as of 26th April 2022. Even so, that should not be the way to reply as we are really not sure what is the current rules and only want to seek clarification. There is another group of table with 6 pax but she did not approach them. Why is there a double standard here? My group wore the mask the entire time and did not disturb other tables so I dun see the reason why we are targetted. If you are saying the max number per table is due to business perspective, I can still understand. And her reply, best. Very disappointed. Really spoil the day. But I would like to take this opportunity to compliment gavy (cafe owner) for taking my feedback seriously. Their nuggets is a must to try!!! Keep it up gavy.
