awesome setting. sit back in this super comfortable setting of couches. it’s a large lounge in the lobby of the hotel. the whisky list is extensive and deep with great aged rarities in bourbons, scotches and japanese whiskies. don’t expect johnny walker here. the prices for these gems are very fair...most asian pours are one ounce (29-30 ml), the whisky library prices are for 1.5 oz. we had a great friday night there, arriving around 730pm. we felt like we were in a living room. the background music was great. private. at 10pm, it was empty. given this setting and this list, what gives??? a few issues: 1. it’s tough to break thru the plethora of other options whisky options in singapore. 2. the hotel patrons might not be a match with the price of rarity on the list. i want to underscore, there are many whiskies in the $20 range on the list, but the $50-75+ pours which is a big price but absolutely in line for the gems, is possibly a mismatch with the average hotel guest looking for a G&T or manhattan. to get the destination patron, you need buzz/word of mouth, media, or more IG or something. i saw it in IG. 3. the bar tender was a great guy. friendly. all service oriented but not deeply versed in whisky nor the list. the list needs a whisky geek, someone that knows the list and the regions, the words, the spectrum of tastes. when you see a list like this, you want to play and you want a sherpa. this is a tough situation to be DIY and a tough situation for a staff that is “just” a bar tender. 4. we had a great time because one of us had a sense of what they liked and we had the ability to steer thru the list. we loved our selections. we would definitely go back.

The whiskeys are expensive but it’s because they are exquisite and they maintain a huge collection. If you are a non whiskey person or go with one. Their wines are good too. I had the Rivera , Pulgia Italian wine. It’s not easy to find either in Singapore so was totally worth it. In terms of food everything is good. I do recommend the Sichuan pop firm chicken and dumplings. Follow taniameter on Instagram

Interesting decor, great concept. Would return if service improves. However, service was a let-down. 1. I was shown in by front of house and told someone would bring me to my table. Pleasant enough until the front of house left me standing alone. Two wait staff walked by past me w/o acknowledging me. I had to pull them and they said oh, go to table 2. I had no idea where table 2 was. 2. Bartender attempted some service recovery and was polite. Asked me to sit down first as my table for 8 was not prepared even though I had confirmed the reservation via Chope. Sat down and service staff did not come to take my order. This was to be the running theme for the night. 3. Service staff did not take orders timely or serve drinks on time. Waiting for over 20minutes for drinks (Wine, Whisky, Old Fashion, Cocktails and even BEER) is not a pleasant experience.

Ambiente and interior design are great, with live music from Wendsday to Saturday. Drinks are nice, and of course the range of whiskeys is impressive. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staff however are completely overwhelmed and struggle to take a simple order for four people. For example they had to come back 2x to confirm the order (forgot if “on the rocks”), messed up the payment 3x, (includin issuin 3x new receipts), didn’t bring the free item, etc. - and that was for an order for just 4 people! There is a lot of room for improvement there! Zero stars ?

Really great bar to come to especially if you are a huge whiskey aficionado given their range of whiskeys from all across the globe. But be prepared to pay abit of premium due to the import tax of bringing all these gems into Singapore and also the rarity. You probably would not be able to taste some of their collection at other ordinary bars locally. All the collection is also well-displayed in beautifully lit cabinets around the bar interiors. Overall a very cosy place. Super good vibes. Nice music. All staff were pleasant and attentive as well. Bar snacks were also very very good. I personally love the Dim Sum platter. This is only a 8-minutes walk from Farrer Park MRT so very conveniently located. Parallel parkings available as well just outside the bar if you are driving. Great experience and will be back again with some of my whiskey addicts!

A hidden gem in Little India and a must-visit for any whiskey aficionados! This place has whiskies from all around the world and you can see them all in the glasses cases around the place. We had a good time just look through all the different types of whiskeys and taking pictures of the interior. The vibe is very cozy with dimmed lighting but a red/orange glow to the whole place. We tried a few of the drinks and had the Sichuan Thunder Fries (highly recommend!) and spent a couple hours talking and relaxing until closing time.
