β β β β β do not purchase 2nd motorcycle in this store. I thought they may repair the bad motorcycle a little bit and sold them out. after 7 days or more motorcycle doesn't work, they ask you come back and claim more money repeatly in such way. for the new cycle, I will not buy from this shop. sincerely

β β β β β Hidden cost, didn't explain to me why got extra charge at all..bought 2nd hand bike from them..
He will just ask you sign the paper & never explain in detail or ask you if you got any question for them or got doubt..
All their calculation will just round off, they eat your $$$$..
Insurance got lesser than what they quote me,when i check & called the insurance agent myself..
When called the shop, they said the balance $ will be deducted when i pay installment following month..
If i never called & check what the exact price of my insurance, they will just keep quite never inform me.
Servicing at their workshop, dont go if you care & love your bike.
Cause you will eventually pay more & got headache with what their mechanic do to your bike.

β β β β β A place to avoid or a defining lesson
1) Loan & insurance. Shop owner told me 1st year only need to buy third party fire & theft with them. 2nd and 3rd year no need to buy from them. Ended up need to buy from them till end of instalment.
2) Changing of subrider. Shop said $150 but some people on forum paid $100. Confronted them but they said rate went up. Asked them to issue a receipt to me but they can't.
3) Changing to commercial insurance. Shop charged me additonal full cost of $150 for 365days from payment date but my usage is only for 3months till my insurance expiry. They said the left over amount will be brought over to the new renewal(3rd year). Ask shop to write a cover note but they can't issue.
Called in to renew my insurance for my 3rd year but they said my $150 is purely for 2nd year only. Cannot bring forward to 3rd year.
Lesson learnt:
- read more reviews of the shop before heading down
- filter out what shop tell you. Only trust paper
- Do not let them rush you for you to make a decision
- Write a review(be it good or bad) to help people to purchase with a peace of mind.

β β β β β Mr Ng is a friendly and flexible boss unlike other bike shops that I've dealt. No hidden charges and no early settlement fees. So far, I've bought 2 bikes with him and both transactions were done smoothly. Just be prepared to collect the bike at his workshop in Ubi instead of the shopfront at Sims Place. If you like to collect it at Sims Place, just tell him in advance. I highly recommend this shop.

β β β β β The service not bad. Fast and efficient for my new xmax. I asked them to do a price breakdown and I find the price reasonable with the break down. Most important thing is no early settlement issue. ?

β β β β β Bought a second-hand bike, CBF190X Fighthawk from this shop and it was a fuss free process, could collect on the same day. Bike was in very good condition and so far so good after around 1 month of riding it or so. The insurance was also way cheaper than I expected!

β β β β β Bought a 2nd hand bike at the shop, was assured everything well serviced and working good condition. Promised to gift free helmet and box but ended up only gift free box.
Only almost 1 month into riding the motorbike and i have to change out speedometer, front and rear signal light, bike chain, front and rear sprocket, the lock for the pillion seat is also broken into half, need welding which the shop just say they can't weld, i have to find other shop myself. Called the shop and he only say probably the other shop agent want to earn money, also asked them about the changed exhaust pipe certificate and they tell me they don't have it, previous owner say inspection pass so, no certificate.
After a while now my bike engine stop while riding, called the shop again and he only advise me to tape the spark plug and try, sounds like a temporary fix, i didn't bother to bring down the bike to ask them to service as i do not know what kind of temporary fix they will do. Another shop tell me i need to change some other parts and going to cost me $400+.
Conclusion is
- to research more before buying 2nd hand bike from shop
- research about the shop you are buying from (read review etc)
- might be better off buying from previous owner straight or new bike in total
- don't bother buying from this shop or service at this shop

β β β β β I would say the boss is a very nice person and polite.
But i had an unpleasant experience with the bike i bought. Just sharing so all buying a secondhand bike be more cautious when selecting.
So i bought a 7yrs old second hand Vespa 300 and the externals looked good and groomed. However on the second day i started getting indications of overheating. And eventually that night the engine gave up on me and broke down. I had to tow it to the shop. After a day it was fixed and I had it back assured problem was solved. The following day it broke down again and got it towed once again. It caused so much inconvenice and danger to me and my partner as both times the engine cut off on a busy road and there were fast cars almost running into us. Not to mention i had to pay for tow and other transportations as now i had no bike. Eventually bike was sent to dealer and found out fuel injector had to be replaced. So in general the fuel injector was spoilt and also the radiator always overheat. I asked for a refund of my downpayment but of course i incurred loss from towing and taking other means of transportations those other days. Greatly inconvenience me as i move around alot for work. Point is, when getting a second hand bike get it properly checked. Ask if you could take it to your own workshop for inspection as issues as big as radiator and fuel injector shouldnt pop up within a week of your purchase. Im just glad i got my downpayment back despite the experience.
