★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem found in Bedok North coffeeshop. This stall sells utterly delicious Soy Sauce Chicken Rice. The color of the chicken skin was tantalizing and the taste was exquisite. The chicken meat was so tender, silky, and juicy. Their prices were reasonable as a plate of Soy Sauce Chicken costed only $3.00.
You should also try their dumplings soup which costed $4.00 and it will comes with 5 BIG handmade dumplings. The dumpling fillings consists of small shrimp, minced pork, black fungus and bamboo shoots. The shrimp were springy and had a delightful bounce in texture. The black fungus aided in creating a lovely chew as a whole. The dumplings were cooked to perfection such that the skin wrap was silky soft.
I enjoyed every bit of it here and would definitely recommend to patronize this stall.
