Xing Le Xing Hainanese Chicken Rice - 456 MacPherson Rd

From: Very Experience Chicken Rice Reviewer Initial experience = 1) How come NOBODY at lunch hours??? 2) Non-aircon restaurant looks new and just opened 2 weeks.. 3) Staffs were friendly but no customers to attend *Chicken Rice (Not Boneless) = 1) Presentation was good (look like Boon Tong Kee) 2) No soup so can't review on this 3) Chilli was not up to standard 4) Chicken drumstick got so much bones!! 5) Texture of chicken was too soft and no QQ enough - expectation drop to worse than nearby $3 chicken rice.. There must be something went wrong in the preparation process which I rule out that the person overseeing is not skillful or experienced enough 6) Ginger and rice ok - fragrant Ok without the $11+ bill for a plate of chicken drumstick rice + green tea, I would probably give it a 3 star out of my normal average. But with the bill, it is too expensive for a 3 star chicken rice so I have no choice but to rate it a 2. Hope it will improve soon!
