★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the places that we buy nasi bryani from . However the quality is erratic. Sometimes the mutton chops are tender and sometimes very tough.
The rice does have spices and chili but quite mild.
Curry is standard , not that great

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good mutton dum briyani. Tried from a few stalls including Allauddin. Personally prefers this over others. Very flavorful rice and tender mutton. Downside is mutton piece given is slightly small. For $6 it comes with rice + hard boil egg + mutton and curry gravy.

So this placed closed on wednesday, so i tried the one next door. After i tried that one, it knew Yakader as good as the stall next door to the right.
Theyre the same price.

Nothing special, plain briyani without any surprise.
Sad.. Really sad.

Done dum style, with the meat and rice layered together with spices, and cooked for hours.

They're generous with the portion, the turmeric stained rice being loose and fluffy, light with grainy sweet spice notes.

The mutton carries a more intense taste profile, bold with meaty savoury salty spice notes, not overly gamey. Comes apart with a light chew.

Discovered a hard boiled egg buried beneath, a welcome eggy sweet treasure. The crunchy pickled cucumbers lend vegetal sweet sour spicy flavour, while a bowl of mild curry gravy rounds this out.
