Ms Mary was prompt & polite in attending to my request and her follow-up with the duty technician. On the appointment date, today, Mr Chong was on time, very professional, polite and most importantly meticulous in troubleshooting my cookerhood (starter faulty) & oven back in working condition. I has the worst experience in engaging them to repair my wine fridge, the issue was already identified by my technician, and they insist they need to charge $80 to identify it again, their technician came and the same issue was identified in 1 minute. They are charging $100 to replace a motor fan and the customer service lied on the amount was discounted until I request to speak to the manager who just simply say our staff are not well trained and we need to retrain them. So to replace it cost #180 when the whole fridge was bought for $324.

Got our Indesit oven repaired by YeoBuild. First visit was to assess what was spoilt and what replacement parts were required. Turned out the thermostat was faulty. Second trip incurred no transport fees and was to replace the faulty thermostat. Unfortunately, the replacement thermostat was of the incorrect model (up to 280 degrees celsius instead of 250 degrees celsius), though it still worked. Despite this, YeoBuild offered to source for the correct thermostat and came back a third time to replace it. The third trip was without additional charges.

Informed and highlighted that the Bosch washing machine is stucked and asked for appointment to repair 1. They changed the appt slot from morning to afternoon on a last minute notice. Which I agreed 2. Asked the repairman to update the issue but he did not 3. Went back home and found out the repairman took the $50 from my helper . machine is still broken and cannot be used. He even told my helper don’t use the machine.No service report given. 4. Called to complain and they they said they will ask on the service report 5. Service report came and said door latch is spoilt. Need extra $140 , which I said ok to proceed. 6. No follow up from the company 7. Machine still spoilt and I am wondering if I should continue with the same company that was so slow in response and follow through I’ve had the same issue with the door latch before and the repairman came with a spare part and repaired it on the spot. Simple issue resolved in 15mins with $120. While this Yeobuild took many calls and chasing and things still haven’t got done. Their overall cost is more expensive yet nothing got solved! Update The ops manager called to follow up and arranged for a serviceman to drop over and fix the machine. It took him 10mins to get it done. So thankfully for the ops manager, she managed to salvaged the solution as best as it could. And it’s worth mentioning

Technician came in on 6th May 2022 and took the oven back to repair....didn't get any quotation when I chased 17th May...got a call back but never received any quotation. Subsequently chased again in early June before I got a call back on 6th June that my oven was ready for delivery. ...they sent the quote after that call. Informed her that I never agreed to the repair as I have never received the quotation, but decided to proceed with the return so as to close off this very unpleasant and long drawn episode. The total costs to repair this Bosch oven came up to $850. The unit was delivered back the on the 7th June evening.

My cooker hood light suddenly refused to work after I replaced the faulty light bulb with a new one. It just flicker and stopped. MR Chong who attended to me did a quick check of the lamp holder using his diagnostic and found the lamp holder is fine nothing wrong with it. He proceeded to inspect the light on/off button and suspected the fault lies there. He proceeded to dismantle the switch assembly to check and found that the holding clip of the light switch was faulty. He suggested to do some modifications which is cheaper than replacing the whole switch assembly. He was very detailed and competent and explained to me and get my agreement before proceeding. Took him a fast 30 mins and bingo the job is done. The light is working perfectly again. I complement the competency of Mr Chong as well as his thoroughness and gentle demeanor. You you a sense your equipment is in good hands and the probability of success is good. I will certainly recommend Yeobuild for any homemakers.

Technician Ivan came to attend to these issues listed above. He had been professional, knowledgeable and detailed with his checks and identifying issuing. Best part he said he will check and the office will follow up in the next few days to provide potential solutions. I am impressed with Yeo build homerepair technicians. Lydia Lim
