★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a car battery ( Amaron ) from them less than a year ago, battery went dead. Vechicle does not install any 24 hrs cam or history of letting lights run over night. When approached them, they charged even higher prices and by right less than 1 yr battery, there is warranty for it. But they gave all soughts of excuses said like hard to claim etc. Suspected the battery was a old one. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I may be wrong but I think the owner just charges the labor cost however and whenever he pleases.. went to a few mechanics to help check on our broken parts and yew Koon is the only shop that charges us 60 dollars to diagnose the problem.. two other mechanic shops did not charge us anything.. yew Koon was the first mechanic we go to and labor cost seems to vary even though for went there twice for the same things which is leakage and change of hose or the coolant.. prices there isn’t cheap either and owner doesn’t seem to care..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did a patching up of tyre at their #01-2048 unit for $20, and I believe my tyre was switched for a slightly older one. 2 workmen sat and blocked the view of the back store (where they kept all the tyres) while another came and spoke to me, supposingly trying to distract my attention.
A couple of hours earlier I did checked on that particular tyre's hair before I drove to the workshop. So after they fixed the "patched" tyre back on the car, i checked the tread and rubber hairs; They were shorter and tread were slightly wore off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just be wary especially when they have no business. They will try and load you with additional services you don't need instead of diagnosing the actual problem.
Been with them for almost 3 years since my Impreza days but time and time again they proved that their markup for their services are more important.
Convince me to repair
Timing belt
Timing nut
Radiator fan
When my problem is with the sparkcoil saying it's something they can see and might be overheating the engine.
Their quote is way over others as well by $200.
Their change of engine oil (maintenance) is min $120 before gst
Oil filter and Aircon filter is min $20 each.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At Yeow Koon Autocare, Mr Ee and his team were very thorough, and carefully searched my car for more than an hour and did not give up until they found my ring that I’d dropped in a crevice! ?? very good customer service and highly highly recommend!
