β β β β β Queue 30mins for Drumstick Chicken Rice, and the auntie tells you they dont have drumstick for sale, when the display has so many drumsticks on the chicken. They obviously does not want to sell chicken drumstick rice in packets but rather sell whole chicken. Poor service and wasted my time queueing 30mins. If u dont want to sell, then put a big sign and says no chicken drumstick rice in packets then! What a big scam!

β β β β β I bought 2 packets of chicken rice using CDC voucher. As this is first time i am using it, took longer to complete the transcation thanks to the hawker assistant and the man q behind me. Thank them for being patient with me and big kudo.

β β β β β Other than the rice that was not bad, the chilli is too sour. Chicken was a little tough and chewy. No bell and whistle, very typical chicken rice shop. A little old school but you can easily find better ones.

β β β β β Service was conducted in an extremely rude manner. We nicely ordered for 2 pack of chicken drumsticks rice, the stall auntie just raised her voice, and told us thereβs no more drumsticks. In fact, thereβs were at least 4-6 whole chickens hanging there. She told us if everyone order drumsticks, how is she going to sell half and whole chickens to people who wants it. Even though we understand her intentions, she could have explained to us nicely. Instead of informing us, she showed annoyance and replied us rudely. As customers, we definitely do not deserve such treatment just to buy a pack of rice. Food isnβt that fantastic as well, if youβre thinking buying chicken rice from this market, you could get it from another chiken rice store located at the inner side of this market. They have better chicken rice, and are so friendly!

Looks promising but tasted blend.
Meat was chewy and tasteless, some of the rice were not cooked properly.
Will not try again.

β β β β β Reasonably priced and big portions. Ordered the roast chicken rice with braised pig skin (not your usual delicacy yes) for only $4. Rice was ok, chicken was well cooked, pig skin was really good.

β β β β β Stall auntie heard my order wrongly, I saw her pack the wrong order in, told her itβs wrong and repeated my correct order. She completely ignored me, continued packing it into the plastic bag, and passed it to me, staring at me expectantly to just take it. Unfortunately, Iβd already paid so no choice just took it. Didnβt want to risk getting another order packed with them spitting in it either.
Standard of food is nothing fantastic, Iβve had much better at a lot of other places. Egg yolk is not even yellow, lol??
