Seriously have no idea why Zi Zai has so many outlets but ALL of them has different service. I always have my fish slice noodle change to Yee mian at an extra cost but over here they told me they have the Yee mian but they cannot do it for me. Haha... Funny or funny? I ordered Pineapple fried rice as I was attracted by the egg, papadum and cucumber garnish. Ended up it arrived just the fried rice. Checked with them but the waiter told me the picture is different? Omg this is ridiculous :( funny or funny? He told us they had feedback to mgt about this (to replace the picture with an accurate one) but nothing has been done. Zi Zai I strongly believe you can do better than this 'pictures are deceiving' scam.. requested for no mock fish ball or mock fish cake but I still have them served in my bowl. Hahaha three hiccups in one dine experience. I will not be here again.

Zi Zai at West Coast is a very affordable vegetarian joint with wide range of foods . Importantly the food taste good at reasonable prices coupled with helpful and courteous staffs.

Reasonable price and tasty dishes. The food tasted as it is though they are vegetarian. We had sweet sour soup, mutton curry , salted fish fried rice and Prata. Very delicious dishes ! Staff are friendly and helpful . The restaurant is spacious and definitely can cater to a big group of diners. Will definitely come again.

Sweet and sour soup β€œcannot make it”… it was like eating spicy Maggie Chili sauce (see picture)… we had to leave the bowl pretty much untouched. Cereal tofu was good, sambal Kang kong too. But Hong Kong mee turned out to be a soupy noodle (we thought Hong Kong noodle was fried noodles).

Comfort local Chinese vegetarian food. Reasonable price. My fav is hokkien noodles without egg. Other dish can be slight oily. But overall, it's soul satisfying.

Vegetarian food availability: 5 stars A good neighborhood place for vegetarians and vegans. However, I do not recommend this place if you live very far away. This is as the food is mediocre at best. Let’s start with the crispy abalone mushroom. I felt this was the best dish however, it was also overfilled with oats. I felt like they could reduce the number of oats used in the dish. The Assam Penang laksa was too sour for my taste buds. It had the strong smell of tamarind. The Thai style tofu was soft and mushy. I was expecting a slight crunch when I bit into it however the aftertaste disappointed me in various ways. The satay was scrumptious. It was crispy, well seasoned, and more. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it. However, if you are in a rush this is a place you can visit.

The food generally we ordered are great. The breakfast menu is good and the prices are reasonable. Will recommend the won tan noodles dry, laksa, Penang laksa. Coffee is also thick and nice. Lunch and dinner is a bit more expensive. I like there yam ring, the curry stuff, Teochew steam fish amongst all. Service is generally good. Only had one bad experience with a ash haired spectacled girl but she is seldom seen. Parking can be a challenge as there are limited slots in front of the shop.
