Went to the Gallery to get my old Zippo repaired only to be told that it was a fake... ?.. nothing to do with the gallery but they were kind enough to replace the inside with a genuine one. Learnt a lot about Zippo. They sell and repair all Zippo lighters.

Great experience to have my first ever Zippo lighter from the gallery. Staff are really friendly and shared knowledge of the lighters and maintenance too!

Now Zippo is just not the same as it used to be. The quality is still good but the customer service is just garbage In response to the owner: Thank you for your reply. I went to the zippo gallery singapore in person as I wanted get a zippo pipe insert. I did not mind to pay for it or to exchange my original normal insert for a pipe insert. I asked your sale very specifically: "I just want to get a pipe insert." That was all and I think it was as clear as possible. Your sales told me that it was out of stock at the moment. It should be in stock in a few weeks and should be available online or in store purchase. That was fair enough. A few weeks went by, it was not available one line. So I emailed your store (which I still kept). Your store responded that I could bring in my own insert for an exchange for a fee. I was ok with that and I brought my original insert to your store. Then your sales told me that no, I was not allowed to exchange an original insert for a pipe insert. According to her, an exchange is allowed for a fee for the SAME TYPE OF INSERT. Even if I was willing to pay, I could not exchange an original insert for a pipe insert, let alone, just get another pipe insert. I am not trying to diminish the reputation of your staff on purpose. But is this just bad customer service or what? 1. I wasted two trips to your store during this covid time, and yet I still could not purchase the item even though it was just right there. It was the email from your store telling to go there in person in order to exchange it. 2. Your parent company in USA allows an exchange of different type of inserts WITHOUT even a fee. And here, I cannot, even when I am willing to pay the extra fee for an exchange. 3. Does what your sale said even make any sense? If I have a working insert, why would I want to pay a fee to get another same type of insert? It is not even reasonable. I have to say I do like my zippo. It is good and reliable. But I rather deal with your parent company in the US once I am able to return there.
