1-Altitude Coast - 10 Artillery Ave

Last week, my fiancé and I had arranged a site visit for our wedding reception with Shirley from 1-V:U, however, at the time of our visit we received a text from her changing the location from the restaurant to Orchard Ion. We were already at the meet up point as arranged. The reason for changing location was because the restaurant is unavailable for the site visit. It was very disappointing to have travelled all the way down, only to be informed right at the time slot that the restaurant is unavailable for Site visit. We even suggested to meet up nearby at Beach station to review their wedding and solemnisation packages. Shirley told us that she needed additional 20mins, even though she was already late. After 20 mins, she was still not there. We contacted her again via text and she only replied 30 mins later - with no explanation. My fiancé and I were quite upset and disappointed with the experience, considering what we knew about 1:VU food. Getting this review up is not usual for us but we figured, weddings are important and to share our experience in case it helps another couple. I guess you could dine there, but maybe not host an event / wedding banquet there due to the unreliable service.

We had our vday dinner here and was a total disappointment. 1. The lady can't find our name on her rsvp list and we have to wait at the entrance for quite a well. 2. My bf during rsvp had mentioned to them that I do not take beef, but they didn't take note of that. Then my bf again informed a Korea waitress when we r at our table, then again reminded a western guy, and it seems they totally forget abt this. 3. It is obvious that they are short handed, all tables are waiting impatiently for their food. 4. Utensils are wet when it was replenished 5. As it is vday dinner, many couples dress up for dinner, but in the restaurant, some guests were in shorts and t-shirt. So the vibes was totally wrong. 6. The last coffee jelly dessert dish, the flowers they used for plating, there's 2 insects crawling around it. So I rejected that dish. 7. The palate cleansing dish, they serve with white plate, but they cleaned with a black cloth, cos when the dish is serve to us, there is alot of black fiber on the plate. To be fair, the food was above average. But the entire experience is really bad, it really affected our mood that night. The vday dinner which is supposed to be romantic and nice, turns out be alot of waiting and disappontment.

Great location, exceptional food and plenty to drink. Well worth a look. Would be a great place to do brunch whilst on holiday. The menu is great and the food is very tasty. Whilst I respect the 1 star review from someone, it's not a good reflection.

New rooftop restaurant attached to The Outpost - putting our expectations aside (it was promoted as having some chef or menu from this Michelin star restaurant etc), the food I had was far below a regular cafe let alone one attached to a hotel for that price. The only saving grace was the sourdough and jam (doubt it was made inhouse). Here's a pic of the main course I had - which might look familiar if you visit the supermarket often. They are pretty new so hope they will work to make things better - otherwise Native Kitchen attached to the Village Hotel would be a better choice for sure.

I had a great time visiting 1-V:U for brunch! There was a wide spread to choose from including a create-your-own porridge station and all your classic brunch favorites. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the place had a great vibe and atmosphere. 1-V:U is a welcome new addition to Sentosa's restaurant scene and I look forward to visiting again soon!

lovely chef table and service from the kitchen. we were lucky to be seated in front of the chef and he has such welcomed face. food was nicely presented and amazing taste. the price was not too bad for the quality. head chef is quite detailed on his dishes. we had beef tartare and hamachi sashimi as appetisers, then tiger prawns and duck breast as main. all were very good. only that our tiger prawns were quite small size. it would be great if the prawns were bigger ;) and location on the rooftop has amazing view too
