Passby a fishing tackle shop wif wide range of items. Frenly staffs...but location is a bit out.

Have been patronizing this fishing tackle shop when i first started fishing 20 years back. from their very first location at Tamp blk 201, pasir ris fishing pond till the present location. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. this shop carry wide range of products.

Friendly and helpful staff. Has a wide variety of jigs , split rings , BKK owners jabbers hooks , as well as different brands of lines like powerpro Berkley spiderwire etc.

Good place to shop. Alot of stuff. Minus points when i visited the shop were 1. Eric the boss keep shouting at his staff and scolding him like a small boy infront of customers. Some disturbing words were used. Definitely not a good boss to work with. Anger management issues. 2. No one will attend to u no matter how long u stay in the shop. Good luck! 3. No discount for any stuff u buy. 4. No customer service at all. No thank you whatsoever for spending $100 at the shop. Maybe $500 will get a thank you. Plus point: 1. The staff that got a scolding was the one who entertained customers including myself and that is after i asked him few questions regarding lures and jigs. He was the friendliest. 2. Rods are good pricing and good variety. Although not much of surf cast rods. Probably not more than 5 there. 3. Reels are also a variety. Pricing not sure. Maybe good buy too. Overall, up to u. Lures and jigs and rods u can come here. U want service then u find the specky staff. He will talk to u although he dont look knowledgeable enough but he is friendly.

My friend and I visited the store for the first time, and it is definitely our last. Despite greeting the staff upon entering the store, we were returned with no response except for a grumpy look. There were no other customers in the store. We asked some questions regarding specific fishing rod styles and sadly, were given condescending replies which is just straight up rude. He definitely cannot work in retail sector with such poor customer service and being not friendly at all. Since we were already there, I decided to purchase a braided line because I ran out of length for the current one. Before I make payment, I also requested his assistance to spool my line. He obviously heard my request but did not acknowledge it and only proceeded to process payment. I waited for almost a minute at the counter while he was working something on his laptop. Suddenly, he realised I was still waiting for him to respond to my request in spool the line I just purchased. Without a word, he simply took it and went to work on it using the machine. Once he had completed spooling, he just left it on the table and does not inform me. Again, without any form of communication despite me being at the counter, right in his view. The worst part was that he had spooled my line into the spool in the wrong direction, which leads to line twist. We were very disappointed by the service rendered by this staff. It is the first time ever we felt so unwelcome in a tackle store. Can you imagine what it would be like for someone who just wanted to start a hobby of fishing, and this was the kind of experience they get from a tackle store? To summarise the staff's attitude: Arrogant, Rude and Impolite. ??????????
