Please do not force kids to donate as they do not even have a source of income or jobs. Please teach your workers to only encourage working adults to donate and not kids. Thank you.

Aggressive solicitation. You position yourself at the junction of various restaurants and you target patrons of said restaurants, you approach and hold up food delivery riders when they should be on their way. You guilt others for not giving you their time, saying things like "don't you want to help the cancer patients out?"

I write to share a few unpleasant encounters of a very close relative with the few staff of 365 to bring awareness at the same time to warn about the way this organization deal with the privacy of patients. Without the consent of my relative, staff Hong was found to be sharing the interaction she had with my relative to a staff of another organization. This was later known to my relative who voiced out her concern and informed her to respect her privacy by keeping their sharing only between themselves. In order to prevent a similar incident, my relative shared the unpleasant encounter with Hong (colleague of Mei) with staff Mei, who was assigned as her care leader. Despite being informed the wish of hers to maintain privacy, Li Mei, hand delivered a letter which was placed inside an envelope with no recipientโ€™s name on it! Instead of posting into the mailbox, she chose to slot it under her door. The letter, having no receipientโ€™s name on it, was opened by someone other than herself and the content EXPOSED! She then wrote in to 365 and got a call from a lady Kelly, who claimed to be supervisor of Li Mei. Instead of finding a way to solve the situation which happened not only once but twice, she suggested to remove my relative from their list so as to โ€œpreventโ€ the recurrence of this non respect of patientโ€™s privacy issue. She then promised to call back after speaking with the management regarding the issue but months went by with no promise kept. From the email written in, staff Mr Ash called and made a promise to get back to her after speaking with the management and again, the issue was swept under the carpet since 19 Jan. It is a shame that such incidents happened in this manner with the staff in this organization. As patients, the right of keeping personal information private is of utmost importance but this simple yet crucial aspect is being treated so lightly! When issues arise, an ownership of mistakes is absent.

Hi, I am writing to express my displeasure with the way your group works. I understand that you are a non-profit organization who strives to help those who are cancer-stricken by asking for donations from the public. However, I do not agree with the aggressive techniques your volunteers utilize when trying to obtain donations from the public. If you meet someone who is unwilling to donate, chances are they are not as well to do as you think they are, and by pressuring them to donate, you are making them unwillingly give you donations, and probably resulting in them not being able to save money for their families and/or their future. My 17 year old sister was one such victim. She does not receive much from our parents for allowance, yet she was coerced into donating $25 by your volunteers. What was more preposterous was that you even tried to make her donate $100, and when she offered to donate $20, you haggled it up to $25. You tried to take $100 from a MINOR. Is that really how you want your organization to be known for? Taking money from minors who do not get paid high salaries? I hope that you take my review into consideration and TRAIN your volunteers to be more discerning of who is able to donate and who cannot. Please do NOT extort money from vulnerable minors anymore. If someone says no to donating, do not force them to donate what they do not have. Thank you for your kind attention

I signed up for a yearly donation of 60 SGD/month though I am not a Singaporean and 365 Cancer prevention society doesn't help expats like me . Now it's more than a year but the monthly auto deduction doesn't stop even after writing in to your organization to stop . I made a donation for a year, not for my lifetime! Please help to stop deductions from my DBS account from this month onwards and please reply to my emails!
