Kopitiam located at the opposite of Bugis Plus, the location is convenient and many choices available in this kopitiam. The zhi char here is recommended for their Hua Dan Ho and Mongolian Pork Rib.

Had zi char with my friends. The recommended items on the menu were quite good: fish head curry, fried sotong, pork ribs, and fried tofu. Cosy kopitiam.

Nice aunties & uncles. Alws enthusiastic to clean your tables so that you can enjoy your meals. This coffee shop is famous for it's stalls that sells: 1. Bak chor mee (Minced meat noodles) - Kuay Tiao Dry $4 2. Hong Kong Roast 3. Fruit Rojak $3 + $1 Tao Pok & you tiao 4. Scissors cut scissors Curry rice - Curry chicken wing rice with egg omelette 5. Porridge - Century egg & lean meat porridge 6. Chicken rice - $3.50 + 50c braised egg 7. Traditional biscuits - Sugar Gem biscuits 8. Zhi Cha - Curry Pork rice / Fish Head curry 9. Drinks - Ice Lemon Tea @ $1.50 a cup. You can taste the tea, it's homemade!

Its got the best chicken porridge in the whole of Singapore at the end of this eating place. Its only open from 7am - 11am. Once the shop finishes their daily batch they close up shop for the day. Best to get in early. Traditional Singapore food at local prices.

Special shoutout to the uncle selling the congee / porridge. First discovered this porridge stall 10 years ago. The stall has very cheap and good raw fish (yusheng). Pairing with the porridge is always a morning decadence. However when the issue of yusheng islandwide contains bacteria surfaces and all stalls are not allowed to sell these form of raw fish. The biz took quite a hit. However today uncle still around and his stall is still doing well. Only sells in the morning til early afternoon or when stuff gets sold out. Delighted to try his porridge and the standard never drops. His style is not as starchy as the Cantonese congee style. I think it's between the teochew and Cantonese style. However the ingredients are very very generous. Try the century egg porridge for just $3.30. usually he don't sell youtiao which is a downside but you can buy if off other stalls around and bring it over to eat with the porridge. Highly recommended for breakfast if you are in the area in the morning.

Great Zhi char and the best homemade sweet sunflower seed/almond slices/sesame brittle I've ever tasted!!!! Not sure if it's only on sale during the CNY period, but it's truly the finest thinnest candied nut brittle I've ever had!!
