I attended this school when I was in poly in 2006 for a short course and took a 1 year diploma in concept art and illustration in 2018. CG overdrive was the best! This school gets better and better because they are dedicated in what they do. Through their sacrifices they made it this far. Aside from putting our own efforts, the lecturers do their best to guide you through the steep learning curves. Whether or not you have background in art, this school is a place for you to become better than what you were.

In my opinion, I would say that 3dsense Media School is a good place to study if you dream of working in the arts industry, be it in games of movies. The atmosphere in the school is very conducive for learning, here you will see teachers staying back now and then in order to help some of the slower students. Also students would share their knowledge among themselves. As a student that studied here, I felt that I have learnt a lot from the 1 year course.

The lecturers were very competent, friendly and always willing to attend to any questions you may have. The easy-going and enriching atmosphere makes 3Dsense a great place to study, learn and grow as an artist. The management there is top notch as well, I did not run into any administrative complications during my entire time studying there. Overall, my experience in 3Dsense was amazing and I really learned a lot both in my field of study and about myself. I highly recommend this school if you're interested in taking up the CG arts!

3DSense Media School is a good learning environment for those who are passionate in the creative field, be it Animation or Motion Design. I recently graduated from 3DSense Media School in November 2018 with a Diploma in Animation, with a specialisation in Motion Design. The lecturers have been very helpful. They are highly knowledgeable and have been in the creative field for a long time, and they are able to teach and share a lot, drawing upon their past work experiences. They mentor the students in showing them what is needed in the industry, while keeping the lessons fun. The course is undoubtedly intensive, and students need to work hard for every assignment. Students have to go through a review each month, and it has helped me to gain more confidence in presenting my works and to practise pitching my ideas. I have grown a lot through this one-year course and I am looking forward to the next thing in store for me!

I graduated from 3dsense media school, 1-year diploma Concept Design and Illustration and I highly recommend. I started with no art background, or a little bit, but I improved a lot thanks to the amazing lecturers. The school staff is nice and truly helpful. If you want to learn from experienced artists and be prepared for the art industry, go for it :)

I just recently graduated from 3dsense, it was an excellent experience. I started with almost no art background, but i can see myself improving a lot here with the help of many competent, friendly, and amazing lecturers and staffs! The journey is not easy, but the friendly studying environment makes it a lot easier to go through all the hardships, everyone has the same goal and passion which makes it easier to overcome the struggle as we helped each other. Overall, the school is really amazing, it’s like a big family that encourage you to grow together as a better artist!

I recently graduated from 3Dsense Media School earlier this year in toy productions and 3d printing. IT WAS THE BEST TIME I EVER HAD IN ANY SCHOOL. I thoroughly enjoyed myself with no regrets. I got to make more like-minded friends and, I also got to learn more about pre and post-production for toy making. The duration of the course is four months long. But it is very comprehensive as it covers a wide array of tips and techniques. From the fundamentals of human anatomy leading on to production method for me to make my work of art at home, which is a very indie but effective way to kick start my career as a toy designer. 3Dsense has opened my doors of opportunities for me in this niche industry. Lecturers and classmates often give positive feedback elevated my skills, allowing me to finesse my toys from concept to production. Which I am eternally thankful for. I cannot stress the importance of good school culture. I am in awe of how tightly knit the community is and how dedicated the lecturers are. And because of how passionate everybody is in 3Dsense media school, it makes going to school super fun. I truly enjoyed the positive synergy as it fosters a sense of community and belonging. I wished I could stay in the school a little longer. I am glad that I found a "creative" second home filled with like-minded friends. They are like my extended family members. I would recommend it to friends who wish to pursue their dreams or to upgrade their skills.

The Bottom Line: Enrolled in the school with some background in CG. It was an awesome learning experience and a great way to learn more about yourself as an artist. I graduated by going in a different direction than I intended, and my future was all the better for it. The Long Story: I entered the school with experience in 2D animation, 3D rendering for Architecture and Interior Design. My objective was to improve my animation skills by learning the fundamentals, learn some basics of other parts of production and find a job in the industry. 3Dsense is like a boot-camp for digital media and it was quite an intense experience. Schoolmates can come with diverse experience levels and cultural backgrounds. I found it was an advantage to have strong artists as classmates which helped me to push myself and aim to be at par with them. Studying there enhanced skills some of us already had to begin with, but I was also impressed to see how quickly the students with zero background grew in a short span of time. There were great lessons and some humbling ones, too. I was very pleased to find how learning concepts of painting could translate to techniques for rendering, and that observing the weight and balance of a person / object can translate to believable animation. 3Dsense is quite involved in the industry. They keep in touch with students, make many connections and implement new industry-relevant techniques into the curriculum quite fast. The regular seminars and talks by artists from the industry are quite informative, motivating and inspirational. Even students from other media schools attend! The mentors are quite knowledgeable in the craft with most being experienced in the industry. They reflect the drive of the school to train industry ready artists. There are occasional compulsory reviews that help puts some pressure on one's work. This was one factor that helps the school emulate a work environment. All the students were encouraged to be ready for critiques and to give them as well. It's easily one of the best experiences of my life and like a lot of my classmates, I was there almost every day because I wanted to be. It was quite easy to get totally immersed in the industry while studying there. It has opened a lot of doors for me. The knowledge has given me a new way to observe the world and appreciate it. You never know what you may find studying at 3Dsense. I found out a lot about myself, about my place in a pipeline and a team in my 18 months with the school. Though I enrolled intending to go for Animation, I specialized in Visual Effects instead. I can proudly say I graduated from one of the best schools for digital media in Asia. I graduated with a Diploma in Animation, Specialization in Visual Effects (2016) and was subsequently offered a scholarship for a Specialist Diploma in Film Production (2017).
