The meat is soft and the gravy is very flavourful. Try their kway chap as well. Friendly Staff as well. Do check with them on the availability of yam rice before u start queueing just in case it ran out.

There is kway chap and there is kway chap. But what makes one kway chap stands head and shoulders above the rest? IMHO, the right balance of flavour, taste, texture and the kick from the chilli. This one, has it all. The kway chap meats are sufficiently flavourful, but not overly so, such that the unique taste of each parts are retained. And when you bite into each one, you can still taste and chew on its individual uniqueness such as the large intestine and skin. The kway is thin yet chewy enough, unlike those which breaks apart when touched with a chopsticks. Soup has a mild herbal taste to it and not overly oily. And the oh so vinegary, spicy chilli sauce. It certainly adds ooomph to the mix. I would go so far as to say that Ah Di's is currently probably the best kway chap in Woodlands. Find it at level 2, at Kerk's. And so, we went back the next day to try out the duck rice this time around. And yes, as mentioned in other reviews, the duck meat is tender and tasty. Yam rice is aromatic with a touch smoky taste to it, which I like. Reminds me of Claypot Rice. Mix in the vinegar and spicy chilli to the mix, and you have a delish duck rice! Almost forgot the soup. It is flavourful yet light to the taste, and when you mix in the cilantro, it gives the soup a nice fragrant twist to it. Value for money as well. Definitely will be back for more!
