โ โ โ โ โ Used to buy from this store a lot. Used to have great tasting chicken with generous proportion for $3, but now the proportion is so little we can't even feed toddlers.
Recently, the prices vary for chicken thigh rice. On one occasion, it was $3 for mixed chicken parts (thigh and breast). Today, it was $4 for chicken thigh. Hawker mentioned $3 thigh never existed. I just bought chicken thigh for $3 YESTERDAY. So... What was I buying?
This only happens with one guy - a Chinese guy who is a little on the plump side. If another guy (smart looking chap with glasses) takes my order, none of the above nonsense happens.
All these is within a span of 2 months. I think fat guy is just trying to cheat money. So terrible.

โ โ โ โ โ $1 CNY surcharge (on day 3) not stated anywhere or communicated to customers beforehand. Even on their POS cashier screen, this surcharge is not reflected. Upon getting my change and asking about the difference (shortfall) then was I told about this surcharge.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the better chicken rice stalls around. Original stall in Yishun 925 is supposedly the best but this outlet in Serangoon is certainly more than decent.
Tender and juicy chicken meat is doused in a flavourful light soy sauce. The chicken skin, which the health conscious avoid, has a nice soft finish which will surely tempt then. The chicken soup that comes with the rice is also delicious and complements the ginger and garlic chicken rice flavour. Fairly-priced, $13 for half chicken. Happen to chance upon this stall a few weeks back, this is now my go-to chicken rice source.
