★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All in all, the food merits commendation. The paper wrapped salt baked chicken, the watercress soup and the Kopi C were all good. And, the food remained hot an hr after collection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve ordered from them several times across different food delivery platforms, and they have consistently delivered good food and accommodated my special requests! However, like some of the reviews have mentioned - don’t expect service here. On my occasional pick-up sessions, the staff were quite curt and weren’t friendly (except for the Filipino/Burmese (?) girl).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Teck Chye Outlet today take away the Salt Baked Chicken Thigh. First time visit this outlet.
Staff Kat is especially friendly and proactive.
Though the outlet is opening at 10.30am, she is willingly to take my order for take away when I approach her. And that is 40 mins before the stated opening time.
And when she found out that the chicken thigh is not enough for my order. She even go extra mile to help me change my order and cut the whole chicken. So I don’t have to wait.
Very delicious Salt Baked Chicken. And very helpful Staff.
Will patronise this outlet more often.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hair found in our food x3 times, thrice!
Food was exchange, the last dish we requested a refund, no more appetite.
A look at the Kitchen staffs, they are not wearing hair net.
God bless who ever is balding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bak Chor Mee (SGD $7) @ Lam's Noodle House.
.
Since being established by Yap Eng Lam (Ah Lam) in 1975, they've been innovating with rice and noodle dishes. The salt-baked chicken here is delicious, but since you're already here, they also serve a tasty bowl of bak chor mee.
.
This is the atas premium option, with top shell abalone. They once used whole abalone, but few would pay $100 for a simple meal, hence the switch to a more wallet-friendly option.
.
The other unique feature is the omission of black vinegar from the gravy, and options to add battered scallops or soft boiled onsen egg.
.
They're generous with the minced pork and pork slices, and the overall bowl has satisfying meaty savoury sweet spicy flavour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First try here, ordered bakchormee and chicken noodle. Dissatisfaction with the hard thick pork slice and the dry chicken thigh. Noodle seasoning taste blunt, texture is fine. Sadly such a restaurant setting serve sub standard of food. Need a lot to improve.
@Lam, basically the taste of the is not distinctive. Bland taste. Pardon my spelling error.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed the great food and service. It'll be 6* if it's air conditioned. The special highlights will be the noodles. Great flavour and texture. Can't go wrong with the noodle dishes. Appreciate that they tried to vary their dishes by offering sides and stuff like fried carrot cake
