A vintage Tale is one of my favourite place in Singapore. Every single detail is perfect and,
Azzura, the owner, brings you into the story of fashion through each piece of cloth and accessories she got.
Her impeccable taste and passion for the business brings an incredible italian light to the whole Joo Chiat area.

Azzura knows her stuff but is never pushy- more often than not, she actually encourages customers to browse and try the items they never thought to. On certain days, esp Fridays, there is also an in-house stylist, Simone, to give you a hand or a nudge and find the vintage butterfly in you! Many of AVT customers become regulars and friends because Azzura (& Simone) have made it trendy, stylish, and fabulous to shop sustainable fashion! Also, whatβs not to love when a shop carries perfect gifts like Italian food products, Italian wines, chocolates and a curated selection of spirits! You wonβt ever be bored ??

β β β β β Probably the most arrogant shop owner we've ever met.
At the start, the experience was lovely! Great dresses and my friend would like to get one dress on the 50% sale rack.
Went to the owner, Italian lady we presume.
She said NO, this is not on discount. I just brought this in myself and okay just leave it (ok if we don't buy it).
We were stunned for a second and turned around and walked away. We spent at least half hr trying on dresses, missed our dinner reservation just to be shoved ofd like that.

β β β β β Entering into a Vintage Tale is for real like jumping tino a tale! You get transported into the past browsing through the highly curated collection of vintage clothes and accessories. What I loved at first side and I still love is the creativity of the place. Always new windows arrangement, always new events, every time the experience is a new discovery. I would suggest everyone to pay a visit to A Vintage Tale, either for finding the best outfit for an event or to simply buy one of the fancy vintage swim wear to show at the next pool party! Every piece I have bought there was phenomenal and well appreciated! If you are a tourist is a place to not miss in the list of places to visit in Joo Chiat! You will never find a place like this anywhere in the world! It is really a rare gem!

I love A Vintage Tale, my solution in Singapore for all occasions !!! In addition to the fabulous clothes and accessories, inside the shop there is a beautiful bar, you can buy excellent wines at convenient prices and many other delights!
Azzurra is sweet and friendly, the shop is colorful and cosy and the prices are competitive too !!!

β β β β β Joo Chiat is a charming little neighborhood with lots of soul. I happened upon this lovely little vintage store, it seems like the owner was overseas but it had an amazing collection of genuine vintage clothes I was surprised by! You cannot find fabric and designs like these anywhere else! I was assisted by the lovely Niha, I think she was new but she was very friendly and engaging. Really loved the thoughtfully curated items here. Ultimately did not buy anything because what I wanted did not fit my size, but I will surely come back this December when I visit Singapore again.

β β β β β As a vintage addict I was always missing the experience of finding true gems here in Singapore. Until A Vintage Tale opened the doors. What a feast! I just canβt enter this shop without falling in love with one or more pieces. There are always great finds, Azzurra is a true vintage queen and very honest she will tell you if a dress is maybe not the perfect one for you, she will make you feel confident in a dress that you maybe thought was not meant for you. I love that! My favorite shop in Singapore and beyond! And also a perfect place to have an aperitivo with your girlfriends. I even donβt know any vintage shop in Europe where you can have such a fun shopping experience.
