Best Indian fine cruisine in town. Great service from butler style waiters, good recommendations for dishes. Good value.

As a Bengali, I am thrilled to have visited Aapon for dinner. Lip smacking food, chef makes all dishes from scratch, fresh and the condiments are well cooked. Excellent staff & personalised service (Mr. Prabha) and very cordial owner Mr. Chinmoy. Try out the Rui maach kalia, chingri Malai curry Highly recommend to try out, with friends and family.

Servers go above and beyond but the food is borderline okay. This review should not come as a surprise as I shared my feedback in person as well. * Kolkata Style Egg Devil was average * Chicken Rezala tasted more like Chicken Korma. As a Bengali, that’s disappointing. * Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biriyani was chicken with plentiful gravy and saffron rice on dum. It was unlike any Biriyani (not in a good way) I have had and a distant truth of what Hyderabadi Biriyani tastes like. * and then there was the tossed salad ($18). We were in search for some good Indian restaurants in Singapore for our anniversary date and that's how my husband got the FB suggestion for this awesome place. Amazing hospitality, extremely courteous owner Mr. Chinmoy and staff members. Our assisting staff for day was Prabha. Thanks for suggesting us the best to choose from the menu. Being a bengali restaurant, bhetki machor patori was one of the pre-decided item to be ordered We ordered Nurjahani Murg Tikka, Chicken Biryani, bhetki machor patori & mango mishti doi. To Chef, Thanks for adding potato in biryani (a must have for Kolkata biryani ?) and lowering the spice level on our request, but not compromising on the taste. Everything was super delicious.. Awesome food, presentation, detail to explain the food is commendable. A must try if you are looking for some good Indian Bengali restaurant in Singapore.

Aapon is a fine dining resto-bar which serves the finest quality dishes from North and East India with a focus on the historical cuisines from Bengal for BOTH vegetarian & non-vegetarian food lovers with JAIN and ALLIUM-FREE options! We tried their VEGAN SET MENU which comes in 3-course or 5-course set. I will recommend the 5-course set as the two starters are simply too good to miss! Reservation is required for vegan sets, and please indicate your dietary preferences. Bengali New year special menu was phenomenal. My personal favourites were the huge portion of Kolkata fish fry, the soft and succulent Kakori kabab, the simple yet so flavourful chholar dal and aromatic basanti pulao. But the showstopper was indeed the Nolen gur ice-cream. Strongly recommend for its high quality, healthy non-greasy food and friendly service.

Wonderful experience. Came to try out this Bengali restaurant via restaurant week, and it definitely impressed. Service was top notch and friendly, and much attention to detail, from cold towels on arrival to napkin rings. The food: excellent quality, well presented and full flavored. The watermelon appetizer was a pleasant surprise, with interesting flavors and packed a punch with the spice level. Pea soup was another interesting dish - lighter version of what you expect but extremely tasty. And our mains were amazing - the lamb chops was served with a unique base of rice berry, while the saffron rice was delicate but fragrant. Overall excellent quality of food, and impeccable service - definitely worth checking out. They offer interesting menus, and also full vegan options - just call the restaurant ahead to give them a heads up. Wonderful experience, will definitely return. Thank you!
