t	taaa shige on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Indian restaurant in Tanjong Pagar. Enjoyed butter chiken curry with plain naan, chiken biriyani and chiken tikka. All were very delicious. In addition to food there, staff members are friendly and served with warm hospitality. I recommend this restaurant whenever feel like eating Indian food at a comfortable place.

Butter chicken was good (I personally would prefer a bit more time in the tandoor for more smoky flavour) and the gravy was punchy and had good texture. Lehsuni motiya palak was great, rich and moreish. It went nicely with the garlic naan, though I'm sure it's nice with rice too. The mango lassi was great. Delicious food and superb service. Will be back!

As soon as we entered we were surprised to see an empty restaurant on Saturday evening. Anyways, we were looking forward to having some good food and started with Dal Soup (not many restaurants in Singapore have this in their menu) and Masala Papad. Except the fact that Soup was a bit salty, both were good. Then we tried Paneer Tikka Masala along with Garlic Naan and Tandoori Roti. Paneer was good but we were disappointed with Tandoori Roti (didn't feel like it was made in a tandoor). Finally on managers reco we tried Gulab Jamun and Moong Dal ka Halwa. Gulab Jamun was extra sweet but halwa was good. Overall excellent service, good food and not very heavy on pocket.

Food was excellent, much to the satisfaction of all our food palates. Everyone loved the food. we tried few varities of chat delicacies, I was amazed with the authentic North Indian chat tastes, takes you back to the Indian nostalgic times, when i used to have chats around the streets of Delhi. Panner Tikka; stood out; it was soft and had the original taste ; not the rubbery texture we get here at few places. Really enjoyed the food and the service at the restaurant, we frequent here often for sure .

Staff, Owner and Manager all were really nice to the people visiting them. This is the only place which is offering pure north Indian taste in north Indian dishes. I saw restaurants in Singapore where North Indian food was being cooked in coconut oil or I could say in South Indian style but here it was not the case. Cook here is really a master. I was in Singapore for a month and for almost every day I choose this place for my lunch. Must try lemon soda it is very refreshing and delicious.
