Delicious Yemen food in tampines.

Hot and delicious! Very wholesome! The lamb shank was quite big and the grilled chicken was sooooo yum!!! Loved it!

Very nice. Space is too small but accommodates well for a family of 10.

I and my wife live to eat here before and the second time we come this happened, the second time we come to eat mandi rice set and also Bamiyah, we eat the rice until finished but no appearance of bamiyah yet, so one of the waiter follow up check and inform the kitchen again, i don’t know why they forgot to cook it in the first place, waiting long for it and then when it come we shocked as we not ordered mosaqah(eggplant+minced beef), we ordered bamiyah(okrasina+beef cube), so we tell that not our order as we order the one that have beef cube. So she bring back to the kitchen to make a new one. For a while waiting again, the new one arrive, I don’t know what to say as is just the previous one that the eggplant have been remove and i still can taste eggplant inside it and just add okrasina n heat again, i can see the black coal at the inner surface(sign of reheat again) of the bowl and NO BEEF CUBE(can check the photo i attached together with this post, i though the description for bamiyah is beef cube, but still the same minced beef.. wow wow wow, just reuse the mosaqah to make bamiyah haa.. I don’t know what to say. In one day, the top fav place just become the banned place for me like that coz of this bad services.. Thanks a lot ya.

My first Middle East meal. I cannot comment on whether it is authentic or not. Overall, it has good taste. The chicken mandi rice is full of flavours, and the drumstick is well marinated, slightly savoury, and tender. ?The rice is nice, fluffy, not dry, and not very fragrant though, but it is something that I would go back to the restaurant to eat again. They gave us two types of sauces that I did not know their names, and I did not ask further about the sauces' ingredients. The waiter suggested that we can pour some of the sauces onto the meat and rice for a try.? As for me, I dip the meat into the sauce instead. I preferred the red sauce, although it lightly tasted than the green sauce which is a little sour. ? Generally, the portion is pretty generous. I asked for less rice for my chicken mandi rice. ? I tried the Middle East milk tea, it is called chai karak. I think the main ingredients for this milk tea are the black tea, evaporated milk, sugar, and some spices. The milk tea is sweet.

The Mutton Mandi Rice is good though I still prefer the Nasi Mandi in Changi road. The Chicken Hummus is okay but I really love the Cheese Kunafa, the best food in this shop that I tasted.

We had the mutton mandi rice and were not disappointed. The mutton is soft and comes off the bone easily. The curry and sour? sauce goes well with the rice. It would have been perfect if there were more meat. The milk pudding is very good and not too sweet. Recommended!

Tried the combo platter, comprising mutton and chicken. The mutton was really tender, falling off the bone. I thought the chicken was a little bland. Rice was tasty, less oily than biryani rice. Wasn't sure what the two bowls of gravy was but they paired well with the meat and rice. Overall a nice experience. Will return for the mutton Mandi.
