Highball definitely didn’t have 1 shot of whisky but the waiters claimed that it’s one pump of whatever thing they used. Not impressed with their drinks.

Overall very average. Meats were average but prices were high and not value for money; I’ve definitely had better.

Came here to celebrate a birthday. Tried several different cuts and my favourite is the usuyaki cut! The first serve of usuyaki cut was very tender but the beef taste was overpowered by the tare sauce, so we ordered another serve without the sauce. It was not as tender and moist but still tasted delicious. The charcoal-grilled taste was particularly stronger on this thin cut and its combination with wagyu and tare sauce were wonderful.

Really good quality beef, melt in the mouth kind. And their bbq is the kind that sucks the fumes near the hot plate, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that my hair / clothes didn’t smell afterwards ??

Visited on a Sat for dinner. Ordered the tokusen misuji, lean cuts, jo karubu and tontoro which was enough meat for 2 small eaters like us. All the meats were juicy & full of flavour especially the misuji. Was most impressed with the tontoro. Didn’t know pork could taste this good. Overall really good value for the quality. Service is also excellent. Much better than wagyu express where they don’t even tell you the name of the meat they are serving you and don’t offer you water. Since both are the same price range, I would definitely go here instead. Social distancing here is well enforced so do make a reservation due to limited tables.

Good quality meat, charcoal grill (instead of gas/propane - which was nice), average service (waiters seemed to avoid us), little to no ambiance (very quiet and secluded) and restricted sauce access (it might sound funny but they only serve you tiny quantities of dipping sauces and seem retissant to give you extra … most BBQ places offer a variety of sauces and let you season yourself food as per your liking without making you feel bad for adding extra flavours here and there. This place only had soya sauce and a lemon-garlic sauce - you may refer to the picture).

I feel totally obliged to share this with our foodie community. We ordered 2 expensive meat platter plus another steak cut. Both platters cut below are poor except the steak cut which is OK. For the price, it’s totally not up to expectations. I have been eating K-BBQ and J-BBQ for years with even hands on BBQ myself. That said, the β€œowner” is quite nice to explain how to cook in detail with passion. That’s the only comforting part to our dinner. I hope they can improve and review their meat cut before serving the customers.
