★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have purchased this acer laptop in December 2020. Within the first month of usage, the laptop has numerous problems.
1) The laptop has failed to sleep/hibernate many times. I have tried various methods to put it to sleep from pressing the power button, to the sleep button. The screen turns black, however when I try to turn the laptop on the next day, the battery will be flat and will need charging.
2) The laptop overheated while on sleep mode overnight. (happened 3 times in total) Thereafter, the laptop would not even turn on for 6-12 hrs and would only on after charging and also when the laptop has cooled down.
The above 2 events happened within the first month of purchase. I thought of giving some time to observe these problems however the problems have only worsened.
